The code was updated to allow for the virtual basket panel to continue to be updated all the way thru till the next open time. Where as before this was not the case. I had no answer from Mrdfx on my quote regarding his daily setup trading (Post 19,204).
From screenshot, he uses V86.
Any chance to download it?
Or in alternative do you think I can use V90?

Yes, please use the latest version v90. There was an issue with some code I recently added but I have taken it off.
I am currently forward testing v90 myself . So I will also suffer any issues LOL.

Excellent week real account almost 10% working ny and london session. Thanks mrdfx for this configuration blessing to the bot creators. Meguatria know if the V90 version is left with the same configuration or in which it can improve since with the V86 as it comes it is wonderful.

I'll do a comparison and see what v86 is missing.
I can guarantee you that v86 will have text issues. the values on the display will sometimes be incorrect or sometimes the panel will have the text in the wrong space.
That I know is not fixed in v86. Oh and the maxtrades will not work properly. That is an easy fix... but yea you will get from time to time more trades than what is specified in the inputs.

Other than that. Congrats and be patient, there will be more challenging times coming.

EA UPDATE For version 91 (DANG 9 more and it reaches 100 versions!!)

xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v91.ex4

Some of you are using the EA for a prop firm challenge, in particular FTMO. FTMO recently put online their own MT4 server. Getting data from the MT4 servers has always been a challenge, especially with the way this EA gets the data. We have never seen an issue but recently there was a report that when the EA aattempted to get the % gain from the historic data (this is for the %day/%week/%year) that the EA would freeze and errors such as "zero divide" and "cannot get history" were generated.

In order to control this error, I have activated code (which was actually already there but not active). this code will try 3 ways to get the right price data. I have used this in other EAs such as the LondonClose and Magic EAs. Those EAs are much more dependent on getting historic data and before the fixes we had all kinds of weird numbers abd of course ZERO DIVIDES.

So going forward version 91 should help and even control the error if it ever happens to you. In other words you won't notice the error LOL.

Jess, amazing release speed!. Many thanks for v91, will give it a proper test, as usual

I am sure version 100 is just halfway milestone and we will get to 200 in no time...

What happened with settings, which you added in v90? They now disappeared in v91. Could you pleast add them back in future releases? One of them is kind of essential hygiene factor and other is kind of good trading discipline function.

Everything was done correctly... even before the trades were taken the EA would CHECK for max allowed trades and make sure that the number of suggested pairs (or VirtuallPairs was less than that). BUT the missing info was in PLAIN site !!! So yea.. when new trades were being added the EA made...

Hi,

Been searching this thread quite a lot but did not find the specification what assumptions are used in BBSqueeze filter in the EA and how is the BBSqueeze applied:

1) Does it use BB + Keltner Channel?
2) What are the settings for the BBSqueeze used in EA e.g. EMA values/method, standard dev values, etc.?
3) How is the filter applied to the suggested trading pairs e.g. what are the criterias for pairs inclusion/exclusion.

As the squeeze is built on breakout identifications, I would really like to understand how to tune it in EA for most efficient application, or not

What I had done was take v88(many reported this was working fine) and added a couple of updated that did cause the issue that was reported with v91. But I forgot to copy over the inputs you call out.

So re-download v91.

When you have some time to sit back, have a cold beer and relax, could you have a look at some small niggles what seems to be persistent in EA:

1) When applying CandleColor or BBSqueeze filters to VBasket, the VBBasket status screen disappears from screen, while in reality filters status is assessed by EA:

2) VBasket trigger error: "No Positive vTrades were found in vBasket" appears and further VB monitoring is stopped when:

1) "vBasket lower Trigger level" is set > 0
2) At the same time "Only allow +profit vTrades to open in real basket"=true
3) Basket hits lower trigger level and no trades in profits are found.
4) Error message is displayed "No positive vTrades were found in vBasket"
5) VB is continuing to update the status of VBasket on screen but no RB is triggered even if the initial conditions of the VBasket are met later during the VB run.

Could you please show more of the expert log? Thanx for the initial info but the Logs tell a more exact story of what happens.

As you can see the log was already recording the FAILURES of the CC filter, but the image is truncated I cannot see what else happened.
As for the BBSquezze, I am planning to remove that. No one, well now with the exception of you, has ever used it much, so no need to have it.

Sorry, but NO - when the VB filters are violated DURING the pre-set VB OPERATING WINDOW, the EA should NOT STOP looking for MORE opportunities DURING the pre set VB operating time window! This is the fundamental approach for VB acting as an agent for the best entry to the market DURING the preset time window. It is wrong for example to stop weekly basket entry because of the basket trigger conflicts appeared during first 5 minutes of the VB operating window.

Actually I think EA behaves now correctly as I described, apart from error" No Positive vTrades were found in vBasket" when:

1) "vBasket lower Trigger level" is set > 0
2) At the same time "Only allow +profit vTrades to open in real basket"=true

You realize that, this is the idea of
"Only allow +profit vTrades to open in real basket"=true
right?

If no positive vprofit trades are found when the TRIGGER is hit (whether it be a trigger above or below) the EA fails the test and doesn't allow the trades to be opened in the basket.
