Always use the mist updated version. Use v88 for mt4.

What about still adding Max Spread check, before deals are added to Real Basket? If the basket runs for many days and potentially trades could be added during day change when spreads & swap terms can be killer high.

When EA enters trades at these times can be really bad for the results.

So hope that this simple check can be added in future releases, many thanks in advance!

Multiple Open Hours is is just fantastic addition, been testing it out.

A small suggestion , if I may.

I tested 3 timed runs in the morning, but at the moment I cannot control what happens with next timed run, when RB targets are hit TP (or SL) before next Open Hour.

Scenario:

Open Hours: 9:00, 10:01, 11:02

Lets say 9:00 run produces quick real profits in 40 minutes (yes, it happened!) and I want to call it a day. But now EA still opens following run at 10:01. I am not greedy and I don't want to be exposed again.

Can we have simple toggle option: "No Trading Today if Target Hit (TP/SL)=true/false

Basically this is for maintaining good trading discipline e.g. SOYH etc

What do you think?

WOW that is weird.. on refresh it disappears ... so I assume you have the BLA BLA directories right?

Go to the github site... this url:

click on the video see at the bottom of the paragraph and see if that setup will work for u.

Basically you will be make a copy of all your metatrader folders and files and place them in ONE FOLDER.
You put that ONE FOLDER wherever you want..

then you create a shortcut with the switch '/portable' added to the end of the terminal.exe command.

THEN there is NO WHAT your files can disappear like you just described!!!! LOL. If that happens then your machine is haunted LOL

Also you will be able to move that folder with all of your EAs/indicators/configuration ANYWHERE you need it.

ALOT better than what MT$ decided to do with the BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH directories!! LOL

There is a folder on the github site called PREVIOUS WORKING those too are stable BUT they lack features and are a little slower

UPDATE v90

xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v90.ex4

This time the maxAllowed Trades bug is FINALLY FIXED!!! The error was in PLAIN SITE!!!.... Everything was done correctly... even before the trades were taken the EA would CHECK for max allowed trades and make sure that the number of suggested pairs (or VirtuallPairs was less than that).

BUT the missing info was in PLAIN site !!! So yea.. when new trades were being added the EA made sure that the number from the suggestions was less than X max trades. But it was not taking into account any OPEN trades. ARRRRGGH. The fix was so simple. This time if you guys see it not work, then this thing is HAUNTED LOL!!!

Also added the 3 new inputs. Since these were easy to add and they made TOTAL sense...
EA will now check spread of each pair, if spread is greater than MAX it will skip the pair and not open it. Set the max spread to input:
maxSpreadAllowed (default 0 means EA will not use it)

The following two inputs allow the EA to stop trading for the DAY or WEEK. If you need something for the Month or even Year.(LOL) let me know
overALLDayProfitTarget
overALLWeekProfitTarget
As before 0 means EA will not use the inputs.
Thevalue of the number you enter depends on what you selected for type of profit.
pips or % or $ are the 3 choices.

Sorry but I need to ask about overALLDayProfitTarget overALLWeekProfitTarget settings. If I set them lower than my target TP settings, will it allow EA to hit the profits from current open trading session, which are higher than "overALLDayProfitTarget", or will it kill the EA immediately when current profit level
exceeds the "overAllDayProfitTarget"?

I really hope it will check the profits AFTER the open trading session and NOT kill the EA immediately during the session when "overALLDayProfitTarget" has been exceeded during the session.

Re: is the blahblah directory, yes it is the right one, seconded by the fact that when I hit refresh on the terminal, the ex4 disappears. It would be doubly weird if I had the ex4 in the wrong directory, hit refresh on an unrelated mt4 terminal and it somehow changed its behaviour. But my machine is not haunted and I am not hallucinating (I hope!!) , and the fact that at least one other person is reporting this issue means it's definitely a 'thing' that's happening, although I acknowledge it's not happening to everyone, and yes I agree it is very odd

I'm testing the Maddash indicator.
I see that the log shows "sort by strength" is false when any other indicator is used yet on the couple trades which had 10 to 16 trades in the virtual the 8 highest or strongest was chosen. Can you verify if that is true?

Since I did this real fast, the EA will check the DailyGain and/or weekly gain you see on the display. If the total profit of day or week reaches or goes beyond those levels then the EA STOPS until the next trademode(week or day only, did not do this for month or year).
Those daily or weekly gains are only updated AFTER the basket has closed TP or SL.

So in your case, lets assume tp 0.1% and overALLDailyTP=2% and that you are using several hours h1,h2,h3 etc
The EA will keep closing baskets each time it reaches 0.1%.
The EA will stop working for the day only when the total gain from the start of the day reaches 2%

What you see a fortunate coincidence
The reason I disable the strength ranking is cause the MadDash does not provide those numbers, CMSM is the only one that provides strength numbers I can use to rank the currencies.

BTW let me know how you do. I have not heard from anyone of any success or failure when using the MADdash indicator.

OK, many thanks! Just to be double sure before I test it out:

For example, first session of the day:

The overALLDailyTP=2%. AND my SetStartLocking is set at 3%. The overALLDailyTP=2% setting will not shut down EA when floating profit from the first session of the day is at 2.5%?

It will allow the profit to reach 3%, lock it, and close according to trailing rules. AND after the basket closure, check if Daily Closed Profit > overALLDailyTP AND EA is stopped until next trademode.

Yes, I believe you are correct.
The overALL targets are ABSOLUTE. That means whenever the EA "sees" that the gains on the display are equal or greater to the overALL targets ... GAME OVER.
No more trading until the next day or week. The only time that the gains on the panel are set is AFTER a basket closes.

So take your example. The daily gain shows on the panel as +1% Daily. The EA opens a new basket the basket shoots up to +3% (your SetStartLock). NOT UNTIL the EA closes the basket will the +1% daily gain be changed. So until such a thing happens the EA will continue to tradet. So continuing with your example, say that you set your trail at 2.5%... BAM basket profit falls from 3% down to 0.5% , EA closed basket cause trail stop is hit. Now dailyGain is updated to +1.5%.
Trading is still active cause the daily gain is not yet equal or over the overallDailyTP. But if you had a trail of say 2% then the basket wold be closed at 1%. The daily gain would be updated to +2% and BAM EA locks it all up and DONE FOR THE DAY.

PS: as you can see, you are changing the dynamics of the some of the other inputs. This is why sometimes it is difficult to add "new" requests. I thought this was a simple one but I didn't take into consideration the effects it would have on the trail and BE... interesting..
