If this is the case where do we put our stops? A 35 pip spike down, which could turn into a bear run. My original trade was for 40 pips with 20 pip stop loss. I was up 20 pips.

I wasn't long from there but If I had a trade target that may extend farther than intraday or further than a typical intraday target - for a long trade from the area you indicate, I would be placing my stop at least under the last major 1hr/4hr swing lo ie below 2643 but whether that makes any sense in respect of your R:R I don't know - only you can determine that.

...drop has certainly changed the intraday look of things if nothing else...1hr below... pot supp becomes res now at the current recovery hi then y/day's hi area where that 5min congestion/consolidation is before the drop - if seen.

Its always the case with us all.. we always wanna pick the tops and bottoms and most times, it never works..

I agree the momentum is UP but MM will always try to drag the opposite directions in. Nothing new.. standard practice for them.

Personally, for a profitable trade on GU, I will keep buying dips.. Won’t be deceived to shorting minor pips when there’s loads of pips on the bull side..

1.29 is like a magnet

the big tl left will take it to 3500 . Could it bee that confirm breakout stay that way??? We have to note it . Or best case 2400 and 4300 end of this year ..
