Short Squeeze! still holding my longs
Hey, new to the thread - was wondering if anyone here trades using the IG client sentiment or any other retail trader indicator for this pair. I have had success trading with it on other USD pairs and it is heavily indicating a short position as the pair seems to be deciding its direction. I've uploaded a current screenshot of their data - which shows that over 70% of retail traders are long on the pair today with over 20% dropping short positions today as well - indicating a drop is the more favorable direction for the pair for the end of the week. Any thoughts?

If this thing was an accurate indicator, we'd all be billionaires. I do look at that sometimes as a general guide, but I don't follow it religiously

lol can say that again, I guess it was rather correct about the drop coming into this morning though (NY time) - kind of wish I trusted my instinct and opened a short position - signaling bullish now with over 72% of clients long which is not typical so we shall see - also side note usd/chf indicating bullish and usd/gbp bearish which should be a nice bull sign on the US dollar if any insight can be taken from comparison between pairs, plus price of gold looking to drop.. who knows! Those who knows anything know they know nothing at all. I have set up trades in both pairs for today so I'll see how it turns out.

So this looks like a great set up... I just honestly don't know if I have got the skills to pull it off. Will keep watching and thinking, studying past dips at this level. Any thoughts on this welcome

I trade cycles and when it is time for a restart, according to my strategy, I buy on each pivot. Don't care so much about trend or weekend

Even if the price break this strong support, it will bounce to 0.9360 before any breakout, I think.

I personally would be satisfied of a retracement to the 48 MA to have confirmation for a restart.
I've been riding this thing all the way down and just exited my shorts before Friday night before market closed. I am all the way long now with a buy order set. Taking an aggressive position.
