EJ missed my TP by 0.3 of a pip, (the top lime green horizontal line) wasnt around at the time, just came back in time to see it hit the trail instead.

In the first few pages of this thread, Chenzo suggests to someone that their mid-trade comment to someone who had posted their trade could mess with their head and make them behave differently to how they would normally. I think that's right. I was worried for you yesterday, and was very keen to tell you, that you had entered very close to the 200ema which lined up with last Tuesday's high, but I thought it right not to, in case, as you say, you got jammed up.
Even your use of the word "spike" in our successful trade this UK afternoon made me fearful i.e. "What does he know that I don't?" (In the end it didn't affect me because I'm intent on putting money in the bank and price had reached a structure high when I exited.)

I've nothing but praise for rj for starting this thread and we wouldn't be posting our trades in full public view if we weren't happy with our own trading style / rationale.

I believe there's always new stuff to learn about trading but this thread is perhaps not the place for that.

The set back with posting trades live is when you see others taking a different stance from yours..and you don't feel good doing the opposite..I have been posting trades live for many years until I saw someone who I do not know put me on ignore..either I have been placing trades against what he was doing or he followed my trades and got one badly wrong

I had this short from 2 days ago and hedged it at -35...I managed to get out with a few +ve pips today..could have got out with more +ve pips had I managed better but form -35 to +4 pips was good enough a deal for me to take..wouldn't advise anyone to hedge as it's not easy

After going thru' my course work in the past I am now back to trading M15 as it's been the most successful tf for me..I have a problem with the dragon on M15 as I get missing candles so when I show the M5 I actually took the trade on M15

Yes pips, that must be a bit disconcerting. I don't think that's happened to me yet, or if it has, I've been dismissive of the other person's trade when I look at the signals I've decided to enter on.
Generally, I think the benefits of posting live trades far outweigh any negative.

you did well...there are those highs printed which will be taken out but I guess not today

I placed a short on usdjpy before leaving house and it closed in profit.

Short on Audusd and its moving fast so posting

Just doing a little scalping so hard to post right away since im monitoring every move on 1 minute

Yes! I think this thread if RJ agrees of course should only be about live trading. Once we start sharing how we trade or what we see, we will end up influencing traders to see what we see. None of us are right all the time. Maybe you see something different and you won the trade and I lost. Had you followed me we both would of lost.

I believe if you see someone who has a better edge and they seem to be winning more you could always message them privately and get some tips if they're willing to share. If we start doing that here or criticizing someones entry than this will become something else.

Just my point of view...

Something else I would like to add. Australia has millions of people back on lockdown. I don't know how much longer aussie pairs will stay strong. Have patience and just keep an eye on those pairs on larger time frame

My point is that, as far as this Forex trading thing goes, I have known RJ for nine years. He is a big part of who I am now as trader. (I still use the simple money-management system he taught on that thread). In many ways how I view the markets and my approach to trading was influenced by him and people like him. I like and respect the guy. I will not hijack this thread, not for anyone.

2) Has anyone noticed that my posted charts showing trades and results are naked charts? I post text in vague terms of "signals" and price action. One of the reasons I'm here is I don't have to explain myself to anyone. Just trade. It's a brilliant concept. No judging. No I told you so. No competition. No egos. I don't ask other members why they acted the way they did. I figure if they want to explain things, they will. If they don't it's none of my business.

3) I have indicators on my charts. Not many, but some. I have literally spent years studying them in an attempt to read them as accurately as I possibly can. I'm becoming not-too-bad at it. But sometimes I'm wrong. So far, about 20% of the time, I read them wrong, get excited and anticipate, or blow the reading off and enter late, or not at all. Not so often lately, but I have been known to wander off the reservation and enter trades that leave sane people shaking their heads. What I do with my trading account is my business. I don't want to be responsible for someone else's losses.

All of the above went into my deciding to respond to Kanderpro the way I did. I have nothing personal against Kanderpro or anyone else here. I assume Kanderpro is a great human being. I hope this explains where I'm coming from as I post my trades here. Thanks for listening.
