I think you're over-leveraging most of the times by piling up.
If you have a buy/sell target, make the trade and have an exit plan to protect your capital. If it hits your stop levels, it simply means that your price entry was wrong and you regroup again.

Why martingale at the same price? Why not just open 1 big trade instead of 10-20 small?

I have yet to see a martingale trader to make consistent profits, long term. They simply don't exist. The key of trading is psychology...and martingale defies that psychology right there. Unable to wait for a good entry, unable to close a losing trade.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Look at the MACD on the 5, 15, 30....all shifted bearish which mean possible down for the day.
When the 1hr does the same, then it's done.

First trade of the day on the beast, both Kiwi and Aussie in bearish mode so easy to scalp buys on GN, much bigger moves also at hand if you go the nerve
Actually a 30 pip trade shouldn't be considered a scalp, although on The Beast....
