I have been trading quite a while. Trust me, when you see a pair becoming completely speculative you want to stay out. However, until you realize it it takes time. Forget about trends etc. Yes they exist, yes sometimes they work, but if something is to sell is to sell. Cable has shown sell signs many times an this should have been one of them. But, turning on the speculation side it has messed up everything.

If you prefer a crash everytime is sells then let it be. I prefer nice and smooth markets both ways. Not a rally and then a crash.

Most people here are long. Watch the pair and see how fast all gains will become loses. Because when you think its a buy and everytime you would thing its a buy it would start selling like a mofo. Goodnight

heya, it appears dollar is doing the pull. just be careful cause when the spike up happened, dollar hit one out of two possible reversal bottoms. its either this one or another below. spike and support happening together is usually suspicious. i'm in a pickle so using marketscope from fxcm for the dollar basket, cause only got dxy futures in metatrader. Just be careful in case of down pull in gu

When we had those sell signals there were also buy signals on the higher, more powerful time frames which had (and hasn't) fulfilled their targets yet. You have to pay attention to key levels for precise entries and exits when going against the trend.

dimadono, do you want to share with us who told you you have any clue about TA of financial markets?... You are very confused in strongly trending markets for the last 10 days...where would you go short?... Good luck with your trading.

Usually the pound sell-off are massive. What i am saying is that i would have prefered a smooth market than this s***. It moved 100 ticks at Asia session, does nothing during EU-UK session and then moves another 50-100 ticks late US session. Obviously this wont continue for long and you will see that happening soon.

Most of the people here are intraday traders and scalpers. We get in and get in out of positions based on what the chart is saying and usually don't care what happens in the long term.

1.272 is a key area to watch for a break or bounce. If we get a considerable break here we could see at least 1.268. If not then 1.278 to 1.28 is next.
