Hi emannuel,

I am getting these alerts every few seconds, is there a way to stop this from happening? I only use the EA for signals but I even get this issue when 'auto trading' has been disabled'.

when you use the AlertModeOnly feature,

you need to turn off the AutoRestartRobot.

Why Do Not chase after that H4?

Old history at that BRN 0.9050 and yesterday was also Weekly Close + Monthly Close.

Now that the Weekly and Monthly are Closed, we do our usual WTDA update our Big Picture Plan and know where those key price swing levels are and prepare a simple trade plan.

next week, simple plan ... we look for good BUYs!

WTDA = Weekly Top Down Analysis by dcginc . He is one of the pioneer member with Big E.

is there a flaw in using MTF TDI approach?

why do traders sell EJ on Friday when the Daily price action is quite obvious the previous days?

even the 'conservative' TMS TDI traders would by looking for longs when the green and red are above its yellow and 50-level.

I did not say there is a problem brokers seeing your limit and stop orders for SL and TP.
Placing hard stops in your trade terminal can protect your account therefore is a good practice.
My point was how you can manage your trades using stealth mode for example to lock-in your profits $amount when the market moves in your favour. Likewise you can also manage your trade exit (closure) by managing your floating drawdown using $amount instead of the SL or pips placed at price level.

My May 2020 trading results closed My 29.
Trading the H4 charts like the OP used to.
He was trading his 10PM, 2AM and 6AM PDT candles. I trade the same H4 candles plus also the 6PM PDT candle which is one H4 candle period earlier. I would also not close my trade at 6AM PDT, but depends on the price swing and momentum on that day I may simply lock-in profits and let my trades run.

Starting next week, June 01 would still be the same - trading once every 4 hours and following multi-timeframe top down analysis Weekly-Daily-H4.

To learn what Trading Made Simple is, you have to follow the trading journey of the OP eelfranz aka Big E. He started as a newbie in 2008. Know the history and you will learn a lot from the OP and when you have mastered the 5-Method, you can then move on and develop your own trading system following how he did his. In Post#1, he explained how he traded the H4 chart timeframe and he also traded the H1 chart during the NY session. This suited his lifestyle being retired and the time zone he lived. Sadly he passed away in Oct 2012.

When you are overwhelmed (information overload) by the number of posts and the loads of information and variations shared by other traders here, the best thing to do is to stop reading and go back to the basics what Big E mentioned in his 463 posts in this thread and 861 posts in the CHS thread. First you learn and master the 5-Method first before you start add your own tweaks and make a new system.

Recommendations:
Read all of Big E posts... 861posts in the Craig Harris Stochastics thread and 463 posts in this TMS thread....and make notes on those training charts he posted. Pay attention whenever he mentioned PA and what you see on his training charts.

Learn the basic stuff about forex trading first. A good place to start is www.babypips.com/school

If you want to trade the way Big E described in Post#1, make sure you use his template , the Synergy APB / HA candles and use that TDI Red Green version. These are in Post#25.

Important to Note that the TDI Red Green version repaints all the bars in history so you cannot use this when you do back-testing by scrolling back your charts. The better way is to run this in live market and trade the TMS setups based on what you see without refreshing your charts. When you want to trade with entries on the APB#1 and APB#2 candles, always wait for the price bar/candle to close and use the TDI to confirm the setup.

There are no „secrets“. You need to find your own way to make this method work for you, much more important than what is talked by the OP or any other member here is how you get to a routine that fits your individual requirements and goals and execute that routine like a robot. Then you will get some stats by the end of X trades taken you could review to see if/what might work for you.

well if you find some posts deleted I know where there are.

in the old thread, many posts were deleted too because of their commercial content.

the secrets of Big E are no longer available because the rightful owner disabled them. too bad for newcomers to this thread who will not get to learn them.
