Lol my first by last Monday I was thousand up at 2900 but it’s halved now and target was 2495 2550

Its never good to hold GU for too long...if I am expecting a bullish week, I buy dips and get out at every spike up...if bearish, I close shorts at any quick dip. Because cable can be retracing both ways very fast, you don't take a profit of 100 pips and 10 minutes later it may be only 50 and next hour you are in loss.

Post of 23/05/2020. Here is my view for the last trading week for month of May 2020.

Since price closed below 1.2250, the anticipated short term bearish movement has been confirmed and price will find its way to 1.2030/1.1986 region before final take off to 1.27 in weeks ahead.

The expected range for this last week of May is 220 - 270 pips

The range scenario is
Possible High 1.2216
Possible Low 1.1986

I fancy selling at 1.2190 / 1.2216 region for a target of 1.2033
A buy from 1.2033/1.2000 region for a target of 1.2140 in the short term while target of 1.2300 for medium term.

This is my view and it is not an advise for anyone to use. I do hope you find it useful.

I understand most of u are now on the bull side but still its a war against the longterm trend. I really don't know what makes u confident for bullish spike where no any H4 or daily confirmation yet even a gravestone Doji stands for gap open or medium-term crash.
It always seems impossible until it is done.

I expect 1.2214 om Monday. Thereafter only selling next week. From 1.2214.

Thats not how it works. Market mostly turns in people's favor when 70-80% of them are on the same side...so for example 60% are short...we are still going up...70% are short, slowly going up a bit as a last scare and once 80% are short, we start dropping. Then people start longing the drop and when they are enough underwater, it starts going up. I have been following this for years...not trading solely on it, but its a good confirmation.

Btw we had confident bears here last week, too...everyone shouting shorts and we know how that worked out. One way friday moves on GU are traps more often than not.

I think we will break friday's resistance of 2219(from Frankfurt to London and NY) easily...2230-50 minimum, possible break above 2300 next week. You have to think of EU and EG, too. EU will retrace towards 950 minimum...I expect even a re-test of 990-1005. EG did some heavy topping below 9000, only touched 8999 twice and "crashed". Just like when 90%+ clients were long on oil at $50 BBL

on a serious note though yes GU and and the other majors are strong for the dollar which is clearly through risk sentiment. Certainly seems like it has more room to go but as always have to remain open minded.

It doesn't work for commodities, it only works for the most traded currency pairs.
