Euro got a bit of a beating today, which dragged the pound down
Really, this was due to strength in the dollar than anything else- and I guess the fact that the pound has been up for the last couple of days
There has been some pullback on Cable. 2400 ish level looks important.
Lets see if we target into 2440

Bit of a seller at 1.2430 (poc) atm - lets see
There is an FOMC meeting on Wednesday - which seems to indicate no change.
Current sentiment on the pound seems to be a bit bearish
But lots of risk on sentiment in equities atm.
And we are coming into the end of the month - so there might be some other things going on
Need to have a look
Nothing like clear sentiment
Look ahead, Macro=Direction, Levels & Structure = Entry

Does anyone here hold a trade for more than a few minutes?
I'm on a trade thats lasted 1.5 days now, is that a world record here?

I can’t tell if this is a shot or a question... everyone’s different. That’s why forex is as successful as it is. It suits all those with different types and feelings to the market. Just because you swing doesn’t suggest anything about your success compared to a scalper. I’m damn sure about that.

Fair enough, but it would be great to share views from traders who dont react to each candle

I have gbj for weeks now until it hit 136 and higher . It’s been in good profit and underwater a few times even when it went to 135.70

yeah I do understand that, there is a few on here that do swings, but obviously because they hold longer term I don’t think they’re talking each day if you get what I mean

The thing with swing . You wait and wait . It’s like if you get a job in a trading house , you can’t trade all you do is look for possible trades and then run it by the manager to decide the trade . Every body is different , if you find your trading style that works keep it don’t look at all of the robots he golden apps etc . It took me years to be comfortable in my way . If you read my posts you will see I enter trades with 6 pip stop .. sometimes they just move and that’s on my iPhone bear chart . But I do plan of a weekend or if I am on losing trades to re think .. so stick to it buddy and I wish you well and that you become a long standing trader regards E

Good to know but not a record. Does such a record really matter? What matters, imho, is how your trading account does.

I would be surprised if 1.2400 breaks in Asia.

However if it breaks, then 2375 first and then 2320.

My longs have stop at 2408

I would put it this way.

2400/2408 is key area, and likely to hold.

however if this area breaks, comfortably one can take short for 2375 first. I would long around 2375.

I would put my money in long. Let us see.
