With my scalping strategy I usually set TP @ 15 or 16 pips but if price is aggressively heading my direction then I'll raise TP to next point of short term resistance.
I set it at 15/16 pips as Cable will easily move that much quickly

How many pips determines if a trade is a scalp? A mentor I'm learning from says he won't have scalpers trading his companies money and considers anything less than 30 pips a scalp...

personally from someone who scalps daily, i dont say a pip count define a scalps, its time, get in get out, 1min, sometimes not even that, 5min is long for me to hold a trade, however these times with markets right now my scalps have turned to a day trade or a couple hours due to the volatility.. however to answer your question i think scalp is defined by time not pips, my usual aim is 5 pips, hover i get in the markets 30-40 times a day, not looking like that today though

gonna let these 2 longs play out (currently red -21 pips) , finding it hard to get any executions right now, maybe today is a rest day for me idk

it’s broke out 4?trades on pp we done and still in the short hedge from 2318 support I think is there for a possible runner long but trade as we see it for now . Looking for. A 1 hour closed candle tail now
