I almost always have the tdi & stoch on all my charts regardless of the method being used.

However, it's not necessary on the 5 method for me. It gives people more confidence when they have it on their charts it seems.... and it's a good confirmation to the current PA and possible trade.

what statement? you can do your own market research and study. Pick any experts you want and learn what the market conditions were between 2006 and 2011 and between 2012 till 2019.

When wanting to enter a TDI trade...
Good, now apply
observe basic 4x things... like
1 ............... How close am I to the previous high or lo
2 ............... Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...
3 ............... Am I in or close to a consolidation area
4 ............... Are the previous candles small...
5 ............... Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what
6 ............... How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)
7 ............... Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal

#6................ Exit your trade when the green TDI line goes flat, starts to hook over or makes a check mark reversal.

BigE started this thread for those who struggle to get somewhere with Forex trading.

Post#647 is basic forex stuff.
You ignore that then you are stopping many from succeeding with this method.
I wanted a method that was simple, worked on all timeframes, simple rules, few indicators.... that when looking at my simple chart it just shouted out what I needed to do and developed a method that is 70-80%+ wins for me on a regular basis.

This is not simple.
EURAUD Feb03 M15 trading the correction of last week' rally.

following the H4 price action seeing Lower High Lower Low and the M15 setup candle.
sometimes the RSI(3) cross it 50-Level early before the Stoch signal....
in such situation I give more weight to the price action and its price momentum.

This is simple
#647 Your safest trades will always be when green crosses red and you enter on candle 1 or 2... odds are
in your favor. Why? Because I'm expecting 3-8 candles... which is average

Trade without the TDI, well that's for me too after I have mastered his 5-Method and have achieved consistency for 5 years now. More than 10 years trading COWABUNGA system did help a lot with understanding the Stoch and RSI.

You are still a newbie and it would be important for you to learn the basic forex stuff and following Post#647 as your checklist.

I learned and practiced Post#261 for years and I know what I am looking for in a trade setup.

RSI(3) crossing its 50-level is much clearer and also easy for newbies over picking the subjective TDI green line stuff and not to mention its re-painting flaw. The key is still the reversal candle setup with the Stoch(8,3,3) signal.

I know these will take you a lot more time so give your self more time and read more, study more and learn more along your trading journey. Do not limit yourself to just the OP's 463 posts in this thread. Read, study and learn from his old thread and also other posts in Forex Factory.

I have kept it simple and that has ensured my consistency and monthly cash flow profits.

Jan 2020 is another profitable month... good start to the new year and new decade.

Last year when I posted only DE30 chart's almost all your chart's was DE30. Post 99,424, Post 99,505 only two of many.

I have more than 8 pairs. I have 20 pairs and the 8 pairs are the common ones which Big E traded during his time.
I have added more pairs last year and have now 25 pairs which I would pick only 5 pairs to trade each week.

I also re-started my trading indices last year after completing a CME training course.

Since you were posting DE30, I can also post since I am trading DAX, NASDAQ, SP500 and DOW. If there is more interest I can share my trades too.

What makes you think only a newbie like you can trade DE30 in this TMS thread?

We all have our good laughs today with your silly posts and the entertainment your provide us in this comedy thread. We look forward to the next round soon.

Likewise, make sure you post using Big E chart templates and not your TDI RG VLine gimmick nonsense. I will be here and help traders so that they do not fall into your trap and lose their money quicker.

Trading styles evolve. It would be better if you open a new thread on your strategy which is like upgrade of Big E version like how he did from Craig. So that people can follow your trading setups and see if it is fetching good results.

The RSI(3) crossing its 50-level is distinct and does not re-paint the way the TDI does.
It is just one line and its 50-level.
No need the 12-2 and 4-6 angle stuff.

The key is still the reversal candle setup with Stoch(8,3,3).

If you have problem with the RSI(3) like those who have problem with the TDI, you can trade without them.
