Here's my technical outlook on GBPUSD, from the perspectiveof a swing trader.

The uncertainty surrounding the UK General Election that kept the GBPUSD sideways for long was resolved last week Thursday, and, immediately, the market went for a bullish spike to a multi-year high around the 1.35140 area. On the daily time frame, the market is overextended and is due for a pullback, perhaps, to the 1.31850 zone initially; it was the area of the recent strong rally northwards.

The rising trendline (magenta) from recent swing lows on the H4 time frame is rather acute and susceptible to a breakdown. A significant break below it and the structural low around 1.31200 on a daily closing basis will likely lead to a southward turnaround.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Same as before, a 5th wave up still alive to deal first if further direct up or failure for further correction down.

Usdx gap down great again but may ready bull also at nearest support.

No Amusement park, just following the established uptrend.

The drawings on your charts are nice but also manipulative with no clear direction.

To the serious traders, this week price action looking at 1.344* resistance, a base above and we're going on a stronger uptrend(update later).
On support side, we have around 1.32 strong support if price reaches there.
For today, 1.329* support should hold the pair if price goes there.

PA is now on DP. We shall find out the direction soon enough. However, the bias is northwards particularly as we have PMI news in one and half hours time. Manipulation or not, GU has a record of always running up before any major news

Yes, mate. At the level of H4 tf, for a pair I monitor I use the line chart to get my trendline as it touches the H4 candlestick closes.
