It seems like my broker is fooling me ...

my view is slightly different today.

Frankfurt/ london will see an upward move to daily R1 2911 ( max ) and then down to yesterday's low of 2813.

The upward move max is 2911.
Intra day only.
Why I feel extreme movement will come..? Let see what will happen with that all red news

Playing below the level of bull interest, better h5 next close below 2853 to have solid ground for previous bottom test and if so yesterdays all gain may forfeit! Lets see. New trade only after it goes underground first, Below 2800!if.

The whole market is acting funky last few days .. the volumes have completely dropped out of the indexes ( dax , and us indexes ). and we are getting up bars testing old highs. Something big is coming for sure..... not sure what yet as the overall volumes in the market are thin , which is not normal for October.

This is what will determine the direction today.
Waut for clear break and take the opposite trade at the gu.
This is the golden set up , the break from the weekly and daily useally couse for a big move.
I believe it will break down and the gu will fly to 1.29100 area at least ( edit from 1.3xxxx)

UOB discusses GBP/USD technical outlook and adopts a neutral bias, expecting the pair to trade within a broad 1.2700/1.3000 range in the near-term.

"We indicated in our last update on 23 Oct (spot at 1.2875) that “GBP could ill afford to dither below 1.3000 or the risk of a short-term top would increase rapidly”. Since then, GBP traded sideways to slightly lower and upward pressure has dissipated. The positive phase that started earlier this month (see annotations in chart below) has likely made a short-term top at 1.3012 last week," UOB notes.

"Looking ahead, further GBP strength is not ruled out even though the 1.3000/10 level is acting as a ‘high-water mark’ and would be a tough level to crack. Meanwhile, GBP is expected to trade sideways, likely within a broad 1.2700/1.3000 range," UOB adds.
