I shorted at 1.22 also and got beat up last week. I was looking for 1.20. Goldman comes out with a 1.30 call and everyone eats it up. I cut a lot of losses. Its really a joke and never believed it. Sometimes it is about the macro landscape and your computer program do-dads get lucky by tweets and you feel your analysis is justified. If you didn't get the sense that Brexit is still very disorderly, I really don't see how you can believe a 800 pip runup wasn't going to get exhausted. I believe he is not scalping so fake moves in GBP over endless bs tweets in a week is not to be overly concerned with for some people. He averaged in and is fixing his trade. It happens. and btw, I have been -1800 pips on usd/jpy when the democrat crybabies lost the election with my man Donald. Worked out fine as long as you aren't overleveraged, you get to call bullshit, and get it back.
