USTEC Oct 01 H1 review

Was looking at this yesterday as usual part training my eyes to see the Price Action and learning how the TDI works.

Near perfect when all three periods TDI show the same condition... price momentum

would be perfect when all three TDI show steep slope at the came bar/candle closed.

There is not much els to post about Trading Made Simple.
Do you really want to win at this game?
How determine are you to become successful with this method or any other method?
It won't cost you a dime beside living expenses, it will cost you plenty of time. a Lot of time like three, four years.
Are you willing to study that long? Docter's, Lawyer's, Ingenieurs did, now they get paid for their time spent learning their profession.
Starting out you should be 60-65% successful. Within 1 to two months you should be 70-80% successful..
If... you follow the simple rules and simple exits... 3-6 months... 85% successful.
Don't complicate it... keep it simple. Buy your wheel barrow..
(I am not BigE, neither are you, that is what he wrote.)
------
Where to start?
- Member's post are best to be ignored. If you do read them compare each one against what BigE has posted. (It will save you a lot of time)
- Rather study only what BigE has posted in this thread. (BigE full.pdf).
- Make study notes.
Foxit Reader (https://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf-reader/) make it so easy.
Search key words and summarize them (examples of a keyword search: candle > Post 97,086, checklist > Post 84,947, angle > Post 95,596
Attached Image

- Test your study notes on a live account with paper trading. (example: use Vline for crossover, blue / yellow for trades)
------
Question: Do you live to trade or trade to live?

If we strictly follow Big E trading style and his written rules in this thread, this would have been the ideal entry and exit (Post #6).

Big E last post, Post#12,912 "...reading the thread and taking notes. READ & STUDY."

Below is what I do all the time, read and study both written text and what I see on charts. 10 years on and today I keep on doing this everyday. The learning never stop. Google search engine keyword search only look for keywords, it does not look at price charts nor price action nor read indicators data for you.

DE30 Oct 02 Daily chart

Some would not trade the Daily for different reason. One being they think the stop loss is too big and their small account does not allow them to use %risk and Position Sizing.

GBPJPY Oct 02 H1 trade

Was looking at JPY pairs this morning when Syndey open, took this trade and left it running.

FO has another sell entry setup Follow Post #261.

This is what that post #261 means when Stoch confirm the direction, to have a direction it must first show a %K cross %D then continues, preferable between 80 and 20 levels. Important is also the PA and the 5EMA for the type of reversal setup candles - aggressive setup and conservative setup.

Readers, this is a direct warning.
Related to Post 98,029
The following sentences was never used or the principle within applied by BigE anywhere in this trend.
- Stoch cross signal
- TDI green confirms later the reversal setup
- Use of MTF TDI
Do a keyword search on above words and decide for yourself.
(Now you know why:
- it will take you three, four years to master this method
- members are constantly complaing that the trade went "south"

Stoch cross signal
Post 1: I also use a Stochastics (8,3,3) indicator. It is ONLY used to confirm direction. Nothing else.
Post 261: Stoch's is nothing but confirmation.
Post 647: Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal
Post 1,253:
When Stoch's does not confirm the TDI direction... stay out and find another trade... Here... TDI down - Stoch's up

TDI green confirms later the reversal setup
Post 121:Also pay attention to the left on the TDI for tops and bottoms... there pretty accurate for reversals...
Post 261: If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter

USDJPY Oct 02 Daily candle trade was good.
Took some pips and now wait and see how it reacts today... couple of 'support' just where current price is.
... last swing low (arrow)
... 10EMA/50EMA
... BRN 107.00

potential target 106.50 region +/-

Trade what we see ... indicators are tools we use and are our guide.
