It would be nice if the S&P broke the top ... but that would raise the dollar a lot ... but then several pairs might rise later...

If the US economy is bad it will affect the world little by little anyway.

2200//2220 key decision area now. If bears take it out it's lights out. There's still a chance for a rebound though, so long this area holds ground.
Still noteworthy: yesterday's NY progress so far rejected by LO today, not a good sign.
