Maybe have a look at what happened in the UK when your old pal John Major tried to peg the pound to the DM. Have a think about how stupid that was and how every country is different. Think about the effect of spending over taxation has on a net exporter as opposed to net importer. Think about what happens to the private sector if the other two sectors are in deficit.

Put simply as may be necessary - a countries finances add up. That's what accounting is. The effects of a countries spending/debt/interest rates leads to changes in future prices/exchange rates and this effects how the finances add up the follow year.

The idea that you can foresee the finances of an indpendent Scotland when you can't see why the referendum on Brexit came to be is utterly preposterous.

the timing was great; it took right off.
My target was shit.
I exited @ 45 pips when i could have taken out at least 60.

its my weakest point: i switch between targets and trailing.

Scotland runs a deficit with Westminster,
IE all Scotlands income is short by 12 billion, which comes from Westminster, that's how I know they can't afford it
