More food for thought over the weekend to support the potential harmonic shark I drew up, DXY has had a trend change and is now making a symmetrical triangle. Symmetrical triangles in a downtrend we expect to break to the downside of course this may not happen but again it builds confluence for GU long up to point D of my harmonic shark pattern. The mouth of the triangle (which we use to measure targets) conveniently comes in at the 1.27 extension again more confluence we shall see.

I have closed out ,till next week
as a story develops Iran ,
to change the weekly would have had to be very bullish move
Its not possible I don't think to make this chart up with photo software

Please forget about the "retail Rick bullshit triangle". Markets don't work like that. There is no triangle setup in DXY (same as gold, as pointed out in the other thread).

I guess it's how you interpretate the charts, mr.president said fib levels was absoloute horse rubbish yet it's all I use pretty much with market structure to trade.

There are no triangles on the gold price chart. There is the trading range, range high and range low.
Triangles are a great way for big players to take out weak hands (retail), they most often fail and have multiple fake break outs / break downs.

Markets don't work like that. There is accumulation and distribution on your price chart, no triangles.
Once you realize this, you'd start to see things a lot more clearly.
