The flight to north seems a little slow and difficult...

At the moment, GBP is still failing to gain strength (look at GBP/JPY). Cable is moving up due to weak USD at the moment...GBP still needs to find footing if you think Cable can break and make a new high...

My two cents...

Maybe it will come...maybe it won't....London has closed so we are only left with the Americans...let's see what happens..

That's why I believe the market still lack some conviction with regards to turning into GBP bulls...

I'm not saying it won't happen..but a little push is needed....

Question is...where does this push come from?

well i saw that i got stopped out so i had to come back to see if i can win back those 6 pips.

Maybe the push was supposed to be Boris saying they are out on 31st of october or NO DEAL.
Price overshot my SL level on M30.
But now it seems to be confused lol

I think traders just dont know what to make of the events. its almost weekend.

IMO, market sentiment is still very negative-look at yen pairs: slow to rise, quick to sink. With such negative sentiment, it is difficult for XXX/USD to rise (in my opinion).

In an ideal scenario, you want the yen pairs to be green and both EUR and GBP to be strong for the cable to mount a serious bull run. Right now, both GJ and EJ looks to be going to the dumps so tough luck on Cable longs in my opinion. Depending on your entry, you may still be profitable, but I'm not sure how far north it can go unless GJ and EJ start rallying.

i agree...
but price is behaving strange to me.

If M5 closes below 1.2678 i will be looking for shorts.
If it rejects it I will probably go long.

I just read that Netherlands has said there will be no renegotiation. France said the same earlier.
So if Boris is to believed that means the UK crashes out october 31st.
Is that good or bad for the pound?

I'm long on this pair and short on the Euro at the moment, but one thing is for sure I’ll defo be closing everything off - over the weekend.
