US jobs report in a couple of Minutes
WOW. Big dip again!
Markets to -1.0%

FED Happy! Markets not!

Only as decent trade deal with US<>China can push up the markets again.
But they still have a long road to go.

When markets prices are cheap enough Big buyers will step in again.
I'm not gone fight the market to the upside Today.
To deep to go short again and to bearish to go long here with futures.

Maybe next Week again

I used to trade range candles with T3MA lines, and your post made me bring them up again and play with the Dow after NFP..

And I love channels for both entries and exits. Such as the bottom in the Dow 2.07.

The proper context for Islander's WRBs, methinks.

I used to trade range candles with T3MA lines, and your post made me bring them up again and play with the Dow after NFP..

T3 MA lines show a very different level on Minute charts then T3 MA lines on Renko charts. Different calculation. Thats why I use T3s on Renko charts only.

Thank you for explaining that, which I was wondering about. But why Renko instead of, say, range bars?

MA lines are calculated on whats printed on the chart. What type of bars/blocks/candles you use.

Minute chart shows very different length/size of candles. Very differnent kind of math compared with Renko

Renko plots one size of blocks only, So a more fluent move for MA lines math.

I stick with Renko. Not so much experience with Range bars

If you want to use T3 MA lines (or any other MA line) compare a Range and a Renko and see how it looks. What suits you the best

Markets bounced off from the -1.0% and back up to -0.50%.

That were the flash trade boys who took the long trades from -1.0% and took a half % profit.
Exactly @ -0.50% they sold their lots and markets bounced back again.

Thats what I did with a few lots in the NQ and DOW Futures.
Goes to fast to post.

Percentage levels trading is much more profitable then all other fancy indicators together.

Agreed re a single candle, the candles that follow a wrb complete the picture and I'm always looking for a confirming "level" be it a horizontal one or one from an MA or an envelope either fixed or via BBs I prefer the former.

Edit: the low in the Dow at 14:07 GMT was at the 200 sma -0.5% envelope & today's MS 2 level

Re: Percentage moves, are you using a simple 1% of the closing price at the US close, or something more complex?

Keep It Simple.

1% of the US RTH/Cash close. (DOW/SnP/NQ)

For DAX the RTH/Cash close ofcourse.

I have an indicator made to calculate that every morning for me.

I don't know if this % trading works for Forex pairs. I don't trade that.

Price keeps hanging @ -0.25% and waiting for more (late) buyers to lift it to Y close.
If new buyers do not apear, price goes back to -0.50%/Todays Dev RTH POC as well.

No buyers and back to the POC.

Re entered the DOW with Future longs @ 25.336 above my Stop MA & Ichi cloud & white declining (upper line) channel.
Tenkan (yellow dotted line) crossed the Ichi cloud as well so several up signals.

Price now @ +0.25% from Friday close.

+160p locked in last lot

Possible targets 25.600/+0.50% and 25.650 Thursday Naked ETH POC .
25.650 is also the last Weekly VWAP level (aqua line on the Weekly chart)

Remind its a counter trade. Markets still Bearish acc. to my charts.

If the DOW can cross the last Weekly POC (yellow line on W chart), it might go up further to fill the W TPO pocket.

Same story for the NQ (and SnP)

I took a nice Future scalp last Hr. Y late @ 6990. Closed it before the markets closed.
Price remained above the POCs & VWAPs & Ichi cloud. (Tenkan was already above the Ichi cloud)

Possible up target 7050 Thursdays VWAP/+0.25% zone

NQ also still a BEARISH market, so just buying up with small counter trades

DAX price locked up between 3 Weekly POC levels (yellow lines)
Needs to break out above 11.600 or below 11.400.

Did you find any use for weekly and monthly Vwaps (reset at new week month)?
