Especially for LeM. --

Your use of H4 and up trading, at least occasionally, with 1-2-3 got me thinking (generally dangerous). So . . . I looked at a lot of H2 charts with the 1-2-3 application. What I discovered was pretty positive, as you might expect (I guess I did).

The H2 seems to be better for pairs with a greater daily range . . . not really for those only running 65 pips a day, or the like.

Preliminary of course, but seems to be fewer 'fake outs' where just one hour does something.

Not for Hal obviously, he is, as I have heard, "draining the banks" on H1 with one, or maybe both, arms/hands tied behind his back.

But for a neophyte 1-2-3 guy it seems to make some sense and work, net positive at least. And I would do this for a small number of pairs at the outset in the spirit of Too Slow's strong recommendation to trade a single pair while learning.

Do I need more creme in my coffee, or does this make some logic to you?

Makes perfect logic. Same reason I like 10 min bars instead of 5 min ones.

Nudge: You will find that H2 bars will work especially well on the indices.
