well, it's not overbought anymore, BUT we also had a hammer on D1 last Wednesday so I am short @ 119.60 (also encouraged by Bago and Sidus signals early today)
Consistency and patience is everything

Hi,

What was your rationale in cutting the trade short of the PP?

Croesusfx,

I'm glad you asked that. Even though this may be a +40/+10 trade in the end, it was still a Mouteki sell.

Not good, but looking at the charts, I don't see my TP taking for another 24-36 hours.

Based on Mouteki rules, I wouldn't have taken the trade. The demand line was too flat

Agreed. You'll never go broke taking profits.

Still looks good to me...

Hi E/U mouteki trader..

I am just a beginner. I have used the mouteki method daily and what always happened was, i got little profit then followed by big loss. I realize that greedy and emotion are the factors which influence my decisions.
Herewith i attached Eur/USd price projection. Are there anybody else who does the same price projection as i do?

Is Monday still the best day to setup the trend lines? What time should we trade ? coz i believe that we can not trade everytime we want.

Pls help me with this situation...

I wouldn't have taken this trade because your point A and B are too close together and are "related" (part of same move upwards).

Loe, some trades just fail - period. I lost on this one too. This is just a hint at what you can do if you choose. It isn't fail proof, but try it and see. Take one pair and backtest for 3 months. Look at every positive trade and every failed trade. Look at all the candles around each of these. Write it down. See if you can find a trend that occurs "almost" every time. I've done this and found it, but only on gbp/usd and eur/yen, but again not everytime. That is all I've backtested. I can tell you the same trends do not appear to work on usd/jpy, but I haven't made it that far yet.

Just something that may help.
