Sorry, eny one can help me. i just open only 3m chart, when i change 3m to different ex: 1m , 5m. the ea instantly disappear.

Hi Lehuuhai014,

Not quite sure what you are trying to do. This EA is very easy to install - attach the EA to a 1 minute chart of your choice, adjust the settings of the EA to suite your needs, click "OK" and the offline chart that you want to use will automatically open. I normally set the EA to 100 point brick size, and an offline chart of M3 or M4 and I leave the rest of the settings as default because that is how I want to use the EA. The offline chart you have chosen will open automatically when you click "OK" - add your favourite colours and off you go, happy trading!

Thanks you Dave, i know how to install, i did it on 3m tf, but when i set it to 5m, 1m or 15m to match with the tf tester need. but when i hit " ok " the ea disappear. it only run when i set 3m tf. i try many time, can you open 5m tf offline chart Dave ?

Hi Lehuuhai014,

I don't think you can open offline charts in MT4 which correspond to the "normal" online MT4 time frames - M1, M5, M15, M30 etc. You can have M3, M4, M6, M7 etc offline TF, but I don't think you can have M5 offline because this value corresponds to an online TF. That is my understanding of how MT4 works. The EA is working fine for me with M3 and M4 offline charts and the EA installed on M1 online charts.

I have followed the steps in the first post, and still cannot get the bricks to form. I am using Version 4, Build 1170 of MT4.

Please assist.

Hi Silvretta,

When I set up the EA it automatically opens the offline chart when I have completed the set up and clicked "OK" - have you tried to open an M3 EURUSD chart manually?

Looks like a Renko chart, you just need to expand it and add a bit of colour - or however you like it. I don't store as many bars in my history so I can't go back to August last year to compare it but it looks OK - here is a screen shot of my offline (M4) chart:

Dave I just see that you have a 1 minute chart open for each currency pair.
Take the multi-symbol Renko Chart Creator EA.
Then you have fewer windows open.

You are correct it is a little bit of a problem with so many 1 minute charts open - I run two charts per currency pair; a 20 point chart and a 100 point chart. I did try the the multi symbol EA but I couldn't get it to work first time unlike the single EA. Not sure why, I need to spend more time to examine what the problem is. I am sure I can fix it, but for now the single instrument EA is working fine. Even with so many charts open my perception is that this EA is less of a load on my computer than a Renko indicator I was using previously.

Wow that's an impressive collection of charts! I must sort out why the Multi EA version is not working for me - something for next week. Just picking up on MathTrader7 post about having a fast computer - my computer was powerful when I bought it, but like yours it is not so new and high spec anymore! But this EA does appear to be a lighter load on the processor - some EA's and indicators I have tried have nearly ground it to a halt - they had to go

I do not think it's up to your computer.
But what you have already described I had earlier.
Maybe you have to uninstall the MT4.
But not the login and password data.
Only the MT4.
Reinstall afterwards.
Indicators or EAs are not lost.
Everything stays there.
I simply uninstalled this with the CCleaner Free.
Went without problems.

My eyes are wide open... and even on the M3 there are no bricks.

YOUR EYES ARE DEFINITELY OPEN BUT LOOKING AT THE WRONG DIRECTION.
You have the off-line as shown here but your default is in Bar-charts. See that you select CANDLESTICKS if you want bricks.
