FOMC Minutes stated almost all policy makers said rate hikes likely warranted "fairly soon" and it could be appropriate at future meetings to emphasise more greatly on data.

In FX markets, the USD index traded rangebound following an uneventful FOMC minutes. The reaction was muted as analysts viewed the minutes to be consistent with an upcoming hike in December, but suggested a potential flexible approach moving forward. Meanwhile the EUR/USD consolidated eyeing the 1.1400 handle to the upside.

Option expiries of note for today's 15:00 GMT:
EUR/USD: 1.1300 (0.493 BLN), 1.1350 (1.6 BLN) and 1.1400-10 (1.6 BLN).

Closed my short position @ 1.1388 that I opened @ 1.1459 (71 pips gain) due to a daily close above the 10-day moving average.

Today I am not trading, just being cautious of a global risk tone ahead of the US-China showdown at the G20.
