Non-gap Renko Chart Creator EA

Why non-gap Renko charts?
In standard Renko charts there is a gap of brick size between open of the reverse brick and the close of the previous brick. The Renko creator EA presented here creates a non-gap version of Renko charts. The non-gap version reconstructs the history more accurately than standard Renko charts, where it is of great importance for backtesting the EAs. For this reason, I personally prefer this type of building Renko charts, and here I share my Renko creator EA with the community.

I have set brick points to "10". My MT4 is hella lagging, and can't handle more than 1 chart, with 2 it hangs and stops responding.

Also does this repaint? How does it repaint?

hello Math thanks a thousand times for these great indicators I would like to know if we can have good results in real life with this indicators I set the blocks to 10 pips but your EA bot does not seem to take positions automatically can you tell me how to program the robot so that it takes more position? should I put more chart and wait?

The EA(s) in this thread are NOT TRADING ROBOTS! They just create Renko Offline Charts on which you can manually trade or attach your own EA to trade for you.

Hello MathTrader7, thank you for your great Renko expert! I woud like to use it, but it seems to have some issues because some indicators that I use give wrong alerts attached to the offline chart created with your Renko expert, while using another Renko expert they work well. So I need to ask you if you can provide a description of how to build that no gap renko, so that I can hire a coder to make it...I respect the privacy of your work so I don't pretend the mq4 if you don't want to share it, but I would ask if you can share at least the method used to build it. Thank you.

Hi, I do have one question, from my observation renko offline chart, it is a difference between:
When I load offline chart and let they "build" couple of hours it is different when I load offline chart again contains those "bulid hours"
the difference is in some part of chart, why is that happen?>

As I have mentioned it a several times, in the absence of the history data of the ticks it is IMPOSSIBLE to reconstruct EXACTLY the same Renko bricks when you restart the EA after a few hours.

Why renko result produce different between M1 and higher timeframe?
I mean.. when I attach the EA on M1 will be different result renko when attach on H1.
Which time frames suggest to produce renko ? M1 or higher time frame ?

Hi mathtrader7,

I really like this flavour of Renko, many thanks for your efforts. I've been using AZ Invest Renko indicator for some time (I also played with their range bar product which I couldn't get my head around) in Median Renko format which has been reliable, but I think I prefer the signals generated by your no-gap EA in a very simple trading system similar to Shreyash's post that you where working on automating. Your EA is working just fine - I like the way it automatically opens the offline chart when all the parameters are set - nice touch!

I went to offline chart but I can't find EURUSD,M2. I was able to find EURUSD M1 and M3.
Can your EA apply to live trade or only good for back testing? Thank you.

Hi Pilotevan,

Ive been trading with Renko for some time, I've adopted this EA as my default Renko generator for live trades. It is working fine and is giving me some of the clearest signals to take trades. I don't use any other indicators, just the price action via this EA. I tried adding a couple of MA's as I have used in the past, but deleted them as I was missing out on early entries. Its working for me live, I've got a lot of charts open to trade the way I do, but it doesn't seem to be a major drag on my computer - unlike the Renko "indicator" I have been using prior to MathTrader7's EA.

I am no expert! - just thought I would share my experience of using it live.
