Starbucks in Spain is normally for the young and particularly tourist and to expensive 4 to 6 euros crazy. We the older ones drink it in ordinary bars 1,20€ (Expresso). The coffee adicts will have really strong with no sugar.

Sometimes black sometimes latte depends on day... locally we have this kopi ka C (literally means coffee with a little condensed milk and evaporated milk) delicious, sometimes SEA black coffee roast is nice too with a little sugar.

Better to talk about coffee (I like cortado) than the pound. The last 4 working days of price action reflects the political turmoil, i.e. going nowhere and even a crummy set of retail sales causes confusion in between 1.31 and 1.3115.

I like the overall picture on the weekly of a complex form of reversal off of 1.3 area and we are still trading above the close of last month. Could this be more to do with the correction of the fall from 1.5 brought about by the brexit vote? Especially because it seems May, and probably her successor (if anyone would be willing to take this poisoned chalice) is now in the process of kicking the can down the road and maybe into the long grass, I think yes. I don't think it can go too far for the bulls, though. Thinking this through leaves me with the queasy feeling that this is bad for the UK and bad for Europe.

Now where is my cortado. Gonna have to make it myself!

At about 08:30 UK time it looked like traders were taking a long gamble on the retail figures. I'm guessing these weak longs will be taken off the table before New York. If not, New York will chomp them up. Just guessing.

Cortado, expresso with a bit milk, nice. I recommend you replace the milk for Baileys and add some ice. UK will do better leaving as europe will not succeed. It will be tough for both sides but worst for Europe.

Not many people realise tea had a big impact on the UK when it became cheap enough for the working classes to drink it. Boiling purified the water and drinking tea as an alternative to beer (or gin) was healthier.
