Disliked{quote} Thanks ... probably the most important aspect for me if you used MT4 Tester is/was the Modelling Quality, was it >99.9%. Or do you know the level? In my experience MT4 Strategy Tests are very inaccurate in part due to this aspect. Thanks againIgnored
Disliked{quote} I've used both MT4 and Dukascopy 99% data back testing our EA over the last 3 years but from what I was told by someone way more experienced than me, if your EA makes entries on the close of a candle then using MT4 data is not a problem. If your rules specify entries during the life of a candle then yes, you need tick data.Ignored

Disliked{quote} The problem with results for back tests as I understand it is with the MT4 data Modelling Quality and spread - to be of any real value it should be =>99% ...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Maybe I didn't explain it real well. If your algo only enters trades on the close of a candle it is irrelevant to it what went on during that candle and therefore tick data gives it no benefit, in that scenario, the MT4 data feed is sufficient.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes you explained it fine ... MT4 is restricted to close, my indicators can be set to act on either the close or RTD (dynamic) plus MT4 does not provide the variable spread which makes a difference to the outcome so for me and for overall accuracy tick is best. Thanks againIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Emmanuel, Thanks for your view. But we have another WRB of week 28 (with arrow on my chart) which seems more significant than WRB of week 34 and the low of that seems to be holding the price for quite few weeks. Now we have a case of WRB within a WRB. Which one prevails? Thanks for your comments. Okoso {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Emmanuel, I have this puzzle..... Let's say your current 3 positions are all closed with profit, and then your EA starts a new basket, if later, D1 closes bullish with a change in ABP/HA color, at that point how many position or MEs will you have? s,Ignored
Disliked{quote} .. If you close all and cut losses.. do you give back all the profit you made on AUDJPY? I know you mentioned, "I will give back some money to the market", I think "some" means the overall profit you made on several pairs, right? .,Ignored
Disliked{quote} .. In my experience, when I faced this kind of scenario, if I cut all losses, it's always giving back 100% of my profit or more. I think the only solution will for the price to pullback and find a right timing to close all positions with fewer losses, or best to breakeven. Please help, thank you Regards,Ignored
DislikedAbout lagging indicators: There is nothing wrong in using a lagging indicator so long as you know how to read the price action and apply just a few simple PA rules and let the TDI or RSI confirms the PA when trading this 5-Method.Ignored

Disliked{quote} It depends what you define as "lagging". An indicator takes past price action for its calculation. Actually a price bar/candle on your MT4 chart is pretty much the same, it also has some kind of calculation running to visualize on your chart. With lagging (i only speak for my self not for Emmanuel) i mean, the TDI Indicator SIGNAL green/red crossing is often times quiet late to the party. This probably depends on the settings and how many fakeouts or more accurate signals you want to get. In my case i am just using the default settings.Ignored
Disliked{quote} How come Iddd? I like my lagging TDI very much. Better ask Emm what he define as "lagging" Look at inside a TDI mq4 file. Every time a tick comes in, all the code in the start function is run once, many times inside a loop. Any change in any value is immediately transferred to the green / red line. You and Emm must show where does TDI "lag" on the chart or late to the party.Ignored
