Where is Euro traded? And what is its timezone?

I have headache thinking about this. Where is the Euro traded what stock exchange? I know GBP is London Stock Exchange and its timezone is GMT. But where is Euro traded and what is its timezone?

I'm a newb to financial speculation but I'm pretty sure that currencies are not traded in any stock exchange. It is an over the counter interbank market and that means that any big bank that is open is participating in creating the market. There is no centralised exchange, the market open when it is 9am Monday in New Zealand and the first of the Kiwi banks open for business and closes when it is 5pm Friday on the west coast of the US.

There is a period of peak liquidity for the Euro and that is from 9am of any German weekday to 12pm or so in the UK.

The EUR is traded everywhere. As to when, you need to check the Market tab here on Forexfactory to see when there are open sessions.

I have Asian trading session hours so at this time EUR works well for me.

Why do you like it best compared to other sessions?

I am more than sure that it's traded everywhere and it's location global, also I am more than sure than for example here it will be something much deeper knowledge cause pair of EUR/USD and backwards are very very popular and really going strong with everything else in comparison really. Thanks for letting me know all that information once again, very interesting angle about asking where EUR trades LOL, once again I bet that nowhere for sure. Like others already replied I see.

I think it's more important to consider which EUR-pairings you would like to trade.

For me EURUSD, EURGBP and EURJPY! These are the 3 major pairs!
