I don't consider my risk as being high trading at 0.13 lots with a max of 10 pip stop means I am risking $1:30 x 1.25 x 10 = $16:25

whatever low the leverage , even go minus the system is made to loose , yes giving extraordinary profits also but to a few only. simply gambling formula in mind > give & take , give & take , give more & never take. Very easy scam plan. simply think you buy some physical item & next with whatever price changes the item never lost , ok wear & tear , evaporate etc , still within ones own control.but in forex it will totally lost with a little price changes .so if to reduce risk to traders this reward/loss to reduce to the same leverage % or low, not the only low leverage do any help , only will ask more investment ^ ultimately more loss in an unhealthy system without any level playing field. that is becoming a headache from 1 st august perhaps . take care , fontu

Here's my take on the GBPUSD market from a top-down technical perspective.

On the daily time frame, the market is consolidating along a descending channel (black). The order flow context is in favour of bears and it seems that the current consosolidation is largely a slowing down of the bearish move. A bearish engulfing candlestick was printed last Thursday within the channel but there was no bearish follow-through on Friday. A bearish continuation is likely to see bears target the channel support or the 1.29400 area.


On the H4 time frame, the market has recently breached a minor support (now resistance) around the 1.32090 area (magenta horizontal line). The most recent price action shows a struggle between bulls and bears. We may see a pullback or sideways operation on Monday before directional clarity. A pullback may be to 1.31630 (an immediate minor resistance) or even to a retest of the 1.32090 area, while a sideways price action is premised on the struggle between bulls and bears last week Friday. I will be stepping aside for now.

GBP/Usd seems directionless to consolidate around 1.31 level, but there is the key event to focus on, BoE policy decision--rate hiking might be expected.

GOING LONG ON GBP/USD with tp at 1.31492 level.

Today, i think the pair will move up until it reaches 1.31492 level with minor hurdle at 1.31366 level and then move down as shown to complete the second shoulder of the head and shoulder pattern.

I have the impression that the market is chasing my trades ... sell side is the main direction, even if I took a few buy.
It will keep on going down as I see it.
