Hi Steve.

It´s pre Frankfurt open.

My experience is a bit later much better.

Pre Frankfurt I scalp naked m1(wear socks)..and switch to dancing/choros when Frankfurt opens (about 30 min later to awoid FOFO)
and the market is getting fuel.

I saw the reaction on fib level/round number - would be a reason for me to stay out-

Guido

Classic bounce of 35/50. Trade was at +10, moved stop to BE and it got hit.

Classic bounce of 10. Took it at the M5, because I wanted a closed candle, that confirms it reacts to the MAs. Trade was at +8 and then it hit the BE.

At least I got the right direction... Not unhappy for my decision to move the SL at BE after 8 and 10 pips, since I can't justify it, if my SL got hit with such a high profit. Better exit then sorry!

Btw should I continue to post? Since I don't post any new information, just the classic trades.

Nice trading sesamstrasse

Here are two other trades of mine, both of them were screaming sell me please! I took them after the pinbar close for confirmation. Opened this two trades from the M5 chart.

+10 (closed it due to London and Frankfurt lunch time)

Sooo many winning trades... boring :-P Let me add a losing trade from this morning:

GBPUSD M15, nice reaction bar from H1 10 and M15 35/50.

I waited for a retrace to reduce risk, got in at the H1 10 and got stopped out quickly for about -13.

Edit: Wrong image size

I joined the party a bit with a much clearer view.

Initial reason was a range in m1 around 10 pips below the fib level what I wanted to trade until the price is reached.

Around Frankfurt open I entered 1+1 positions to get filled in this case.
I kept FoFo in my mind and didn t try to run it longer-- as we can see it was a good idea.

In my opinion: 10 in the morning and you´re almost done.

Around us open I try to make some extra.

Excellent week, so far.

Stay tuned
Guido

Today was amazing day. I managed 88 pips I trade the bounces off 10 EMA and 35 SMA and I traded those pairs where the higher TF was confirmed plus I always waited for confirmation candle.

1.pic: a., bounce off 10 EMA and 35 SMA + RN TP was the WP
b., bounce off 35 SMA and 50 EMA TP was the WP because it was late friday I did not want to risk more.

2.pic: bounce off 10 EMA and 35 SMA WP TP was the MP (here i not waited for confirmation candle)

3.pic: bounce off strong S/R + 10 EMA + DP TP was MP

4.pic: bounce off 35 SMA TP was R2

5.pic: bounce off 35 SMA and RN TP was the R1

I would appreciate it if someone comment my trades, Sesamstrasse.

Hi Guido,

Sorry for the late reply.

I know, at times, Trading pre Frankfurt Open can be a mistake and at others everything works out fine.

For me it depends on where Price is in relation to Whole and Half Numbers and wether I can see any movement.

I tend to Trade pre Frankfurt Open because of my limited time to Trade.

I took this Trade because Price had passed through the 127.000 Whole Number (5.30 GMT) and made a New High (M15) and was dropping back to Test the Origins of this new Demand. I got suckered in at H1 Demand rather than waiting for the Test of M15 Demand.

As Retail Traders we don't know when or where exactly Big Money are going to make their move.

When we wait to Enter we get left behind and when we jump in we get tossed out, it's this fine judgement that I find the most difficult thing to acquire.

Hey buddy.
You managed 88 pips in a day-- I think there´s nothing else to say.
All of your marked entries are really good.

Patience pays out.

Well done.

What do you think, when take bounce trades on M15 then the price must be above 35/50 MA's on H1 or not?

I don t have such a "mechanical" rule.

I count: timing as well--
I just try to follow the money and cut my piece of the cake......sounds easy.. and in such volatile months like may it is good money.
In sloppy markets it doesn t work well, better stay out then.

"Dance is when the music plays"

From the mechanical side I take more a look for tightness of 35/50 when the price bounces --

This week I´m busy with stuff, won t have time for trading.

Stay tuned
Guido
