Seems like you almost sold to me GodFire! I took a touch trade long at the EURJPY because of:

  1. Daily S2 overlapping with a nice level
  2. H4 35 / 50 directly below it and at a nice angle

Took the touch instead of waiting for a candle close because I doubted that S2 overlapping with the level would be breached by much. TP was at 128.95, close to the round number.

Nice trading-

The weakness of Pound Sterling crosses--

I couldn t resist and took a cable short trade.
This pair itched me yesterday and didn t break, so I took a sell pending below the low when I saw the constrainment on 10 Ema in H1.

Try to keep that promise and don't get tempted by the news later tonight.

Transactions costs are killing you.
Why not using the old stuff that works?

Did you think about it?

Hi!

Thank you for the answer!
I'm just looking the crosses what are acting like GU on 2009.
M15 35/50 touches every day.
If I check GU today, the picture is more mess, do you don't agree?

Thanks for your support!
SP
Edit: I think you are right, there are still plenty opportunities on the crosses.

Good morning.

I didn t watch. and I won´t.
I really like forward testing.
.... live or with a simulator. :
https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...63#post7787863

I see plenty opportunities here and now.

So I see no reason why to switch "a running system" as long as I can`t see a benefit from it.
Swap, Spreads and Execution in BTC?

PS:#
But basicly you can trade with this chart every instrument, included ketchup vs. majonaise when the conditions are given.

Stay tuned
Guido

Hi!

I tested GU with Forextester for January-February in this year and I can find trades on 1M and 5M,
not so much on 15M. I agree with you in point that there are many instruments
to trade with The Dance. Main point is to get the feeling how to dance and act on the floor (how to be leaded by the market and
do the right steps in the music..). I'm just trying to work out my own way to trade the strategy with matching it with my daily job.
I'm living GMT+2 timezone (London starts for me at 10AM). The amount of getting GU trades in FT on 1M and 5M charts with 15pips SL/TP
is satisfying me enough to continue with demo trading.

With thanks,
SP

USD strength across the board...

First trade: Tried to sell it during Frankys but closed it at BE
Second trade: Sold it again since USD was tanking, also NZD weakness, bounce of M5/M15 10, +10

Mid December to end of January/middle February is the worst period every year.

Traditional is it the time when people in the western hemisphere have holidays (included professional traders).
The lack of orderflow is visible in volatility.

Same will happen from mid. July to end of August.

- already discussed in this thread-

A senior member of the dancing method "Endroute" said ones times:
" I donot trade when the conditions are not given"
--Smart I must say--

BUT-
There´s a years end rally!
May, October, November are months, when the pips are finding YOU.

Would be nice if I had every month profits like the month May.

Hello mate. I see you've been using what looks like an MTF correlator. Do you find it useful? So far I haven't found a satisfying one. Do you mind sharing? Thanks.

Yes I am using a Currency Strength Meter, called MADDash. Have a look and do your own researches, it's available here on ff.

EURUSD M15 35/50 in confluence with H1 10EMA and RN at 1.1600.

Looks tempting.
