today I started with a loss. Twice I got nearly PT, but the overall result is a loss of 370 USD.

Hi everyone,

yesterday I had one more trade and today I had just one trade. Today my plan was to stalk shorts towards yH. I split the position into two. I got 1 profit and the 2nd part of the position ended in a loss.

The US markets should be pretty dead today. I took today one trade + 960 USD. I am trying to get long now. To be honest, I did not expect Dax to be volatile that much today.

Hello Heinztrader, thanks for sharing ur approach it looks interesting. I just checked your previous posts and have two questions if u dont mind
- what setting do u use on zigzag? (wasnt able to replicate it for some reason)
- u once said that u look to enter after an impulsive move of 25+ pts. Your last pic shows a lot of swings that are bigger but you only entered once, why? (maybe the points criteria changes with volatility?)

my view ... (if the fifth part of wave 3 ($P500's) is developing ... TP 2609)

... then the b5 wave (Dax's) ... will reach the TP 13210
( waiting for the c waves = a(c)+b(c)+c(c) = TP 12700) ( about 500 points ...)

(inside an AbC correction ... 4th(3) wave)

13,178 or thereabouts could well be the top of this move if it gets there, from which the Dax could fall quite a long way back. I have it at or close to the top of this 250 or so pip range it is in currently.

I shall be doing my best to start posting again on this thread from Monday.

I had two quick trades today. The first one was a nice winner +1200 USD, than I lost 600 USD.

Hi HeinzTrader. As this is my thread, there is just one rule really, and that is for posts to be constructive in a way that helps other traders. I do not think posting historical charts in the way that you do, and informing us of your winnings in dollar terms is very constructive or interesting.

If you want to post trades, then please give reasons for your trades so that others can understand what and where your levels are. Historical charts such as yours which are devoid of anything except the maximum number of pips for each move, are quite frankly, a waste of space, and not the kind of posts I or anybody else wants on this thread.

Make you posts constructive, and maybe we can all learn from you.

my approach is based on simple market statistics and a little bit of orderflow. I do not trust in trendlines, price levels or in anything else. I only trust in numbers. The ZigZag indicator was made for me, it is much better then the useless one in the platform. I will ask If I can share the indicator here.

I mostly trade on futures so I am paying attention to MT4 just sometimes so I miss a lot of trades. But I also filter swings heavily with other statistics. For example today - the first trade +1200 USD. The open was really strong, if you know Market Profile the open would be considered as Open Drive. Interestingly enough, when this happens there is a relatively high probability 68% that the market will test the open price again. For this reason I did not go long and I took short and stalked the trade for a bigger profit.

There is a lot I can share, but it is nothing fancy. Mostly just excel sheets .

i don`t want to infere to much but you should use an "Overbought/Oversold" indicator to filter your ZigZag signals: Check the Schaff cycle indicator
