I have run about 20 baskets yesterday and last night and they all run almost straight to 50 pips as long if you do not open them an hour before a new session or just before news of course.

I have my own trading system and have no interest in trading this so i am not even going to try locking and trailing i am just pointing you to a possible usefull combination. Everybody has to find the rest out for themselves.

Btw. Here is the latest FXM with the arrows.

The theory is simple.

ccfp is used for the rough longer term selection of the pairs to trade, the first strength indicator is used to refine the selection to make sure all noses point in the same direction and the second lower tf strength is used to catch the current low tf wave (could be H4 too).
I also use the 24 H1 bars correlation with a low (-0.5/-0.6) correlation threshold to manually filter out correlation pairs so the 50 pips can be reached faster.

I downloaded your set file and indicator and loaded the EA.. This is what I got??

Latest fxm preset file as .txt.

For those of you who do not know this (most i think) you can just put a .txt file in your preset folder, click the [load] button on your indicator input settings and then change (right bottom) "Expert set (*.set) into "All files" and just load the .txt file. It will be treated as a preset file.

The advantage is, you can post .txt files on FF.

Edit: of course it is fxm, not fxcm.....

Used your preset file and the H1 strength is not used as in your first screenshot.
Which is your current setting if I might ask?

And I am not sure if I understand all inputs, for a FIFO strategy do you recommend using also the H1 strength filter, or?

Selections, use high also.
Well, i am just testing some settings (H1/H4) so see what works for you.
You do not even have to use this if you are a patient trader.

Great, thank you for answer! Another small question, how the correlation is calculated? I mean when should I disable a pair or not, based on this correlation filter?
I hope I do not sound stupid, I follow the thread since the beginning but lately there are so many things that you can easily get lost

beta 16, manual profit lock (in pips) does not work anymore.
Basket did not close.

After learning my lesson last week, I changed my weekly profit lock settings to 5% and to trail every 2% after that.

TP hit, time to sit on my hands for the rest of the week!

If you presume that the current selection picked winners in the basket then correlation over a longer period could prove it wrong.

fi correlation here says that AUDNZD over time is negative correlated with EURGBP and EURUSD and they are all three trading in the same direction.
I would stop AUDNZD from trading because if indeed EURGBP and EURUSD are winners AUDNZD would probably become a loser.
On the other hand if EURGBP and EURUSD turn out to be losers AUDNZD could limit the loss and DD so that is the negative side of using correlation.

For really long term set and forget trading i think you do not have to pay any attention to correlation it is more for short term fast 50p baskets.

Correlation is coming from my own trade system (dashboard style) where if a trade signal is given the system looks at the current running trades and see if there is high negative correlation with one of more of them and if those running trade are in profit. If so it will just forget the signal and not open the trade.

I had the same issue, once changing TP...then red light does lighten again as normal...
