What else is missing from that trade on UJ according to the rules posted on page 1?

{quote}Can I ask why you're waiting for another candle, the previous candle closed red on the oscillator, wouldnt you open a trade at the open of the present candle?

Because I'm looking at the Crossover Trade and not the Continuation. The Cross Signal would be complete at the (current) candle close.

I'm going to change my Template and use the 3 Indicators in the Sub-Window instead of the Oscillator, so my Charts can be matched-up against the rules in Post #1 by those who need to do so. I have had a few PMs about this so I'm happy to do so.

Cheers.

Your entry is too early bro, you are entering based on current candle which hasn't closed. Anything can happen until the candle is closed.

Good morning all!

Hi emmanuel, do you still use CaveManager EA to manage your trades? What indicator or source you recommend to check on news and news events?

Thanks in advance

One of the stochs had only just crossed the 50 line, not closed cross, as you can see from the oscillator, if the candle had gone in the other direction the stoch would have gone back up above the 50 line and would look like you should never have entered, however, not everyone waits for the close, it depends how you feel happy trading it, but thats why TheSpoof looks at the oscillator and waits for the first red line on the oscillator to close and then enters on the 2nd.

reading recent days posts and especially today's post, I agree with RobinHood that many here still need to learn the BASICS of his methods.

Learn to use the template#1 in Post#1 and master the BASICS first. The TMSS Osc will not probvide you all the information you need to trade consistently.

Read, study and learn Post#1 and use the template#1 and also all the other posts by RH.

Until we all can show RH that we have mastered the BASICS, I am sure he will then share the ADVANCED things. This will take time - months and even years.

Hi

Yes, I still use THV CaveManager whenever I want to trade Multi-Lot entries with R and R-Multiple management.

I also follow FF economic calendar to be aware of key news. I trade loner term swing trades ( Daily and Weekly chart timeframes) and these news events seldom affect my trades.

Thanks for the reply!!

In THV CaveManager to use R and R-Multiple management is through the batch points? Can I also trade single-lot entries right?
I've been using it to manage of my trades using ATR SL and TP only. It helps me out during the 2-3 bars when I'm at the office.

Thanks in advance

The start of the week has been a bit rough for me. No opportunities spotted on Monday, but yesterday I took a few signals.
Here are my losers for now:

I thought that EJ H4 had more room to the upside, at least 1R (for me) before most recent 'support'. Still I don't think it was a bad trade, there was some nice momentum to the upside at the time.

NZDUSD H4: Continuation Trade. Oh well. Good call, no luck there, and there's not much I can do to avoid that. Part of the game. I always stick to 1.5 atr SL, and those trades are part of the trade-off (compared to having a 2atr SL for example).

CADCHF H4: Same result, wick just hit my SL. An otherwise nice continuation setup.

Luckily, I did have some winners, between yesterday and today.
EURCAD H4 Continuation Setup:

USDJPY H4: Continuation Setup. First unit closed off, 2nd unit (of 2) still in the game.

So overall, this week started with 2 losses, and another one later one, 2 of them a bit unlucky. Good thing is, I'm still in the green this week with the 2 trades that closed (just barely 1R up). And I have a positive float of about 2R still at stake, so not too bad.

Wait for the H4 candle to close. stop looking at it every 10 minutes. Let the trade run to its conclusion be it 1R down or 2R up. be good to breakeven before the 1R loss tho. I use a breakeven EA

Hi RobinHood (David), thanks for your thread.

In first post you mention bar high, low and close. Are those Heikin Ashi bar prices or real bar prices?
