{quote} i burned my $30 acc when i made profit up to $200. And it hurt like hell. But again, i learn my lesson, i stop open multiple trade and i only focus on 2 pairs now. But still, a long journey of learning. Luckily we have this thread here, where i learn everyday.

Most important thing is to not give up. There is a reason that 90% of people lose money.

I can also tell you something about pain. I traded demo first and after some time had incredible results with my strategy. When i opened a 500$ real account, everything changed, emotions got to me and I burned the account pretty quick. Fast forward I got really obsessed in improving and learned 24/7 for almost a year. I then opened a 20k account and traded with low risk just to learn to hold trades and close losing trades. I managed to get to 160k in 5 months and thought this is easy, which it was until fundamentals hit me that I didnt prepare for or even knew can happen. So I actually lost everything in 1 single week.

I donīt have to mention that this was pretty painful. But long story short, I didnt give up, I knew if I can get there once I can do it again and I did. And most importantly I learned from mistakes and gained valuable experience.

You know there is no system to tell you exactly if price goes up or down.
Its probabilities game .
Here you have a system where 9.5 out of 10 is correct in entry .
how you manage the exit is up to you and your account .
Since you gain some and is friday , stay aside until you identify a new setup and enter if you want.
Green pips are always good call.

the trade you referring , seems it has touch lower BB and forming a buy setup .We know in 1-2 hours if valid to enter buy .
So ask your self if pocketing 1000$ is better than pocketing 1100$ with more risk ?
And you get a chance to enter the trade again .
Time and patience is your ally but you need to practice and by closing with green pips and stay aside is good practice .
tide your hand so its not itching you to enter a not valid setup .

Zzzzz

Thats a good lesson and experience. Although its tough, those results can boost your confidence to do that again. Still, how did you lose 160k if you were trading low risk and closing losing trades?

That was just at the start until I got confident, too confident in the end. Over time I increased the risk which is fine but I also opened too many positions and hold them for too long cause I didnt want to accept to lose, so money management was out of the window . And right at the end I went basically all in and got punished by fundamentals.

yeah trading like that can be tricky on risk management. Easily can blow an account like that. You use hard or floating SL?

I am actually no big fan of stop losses and I know people hate to hear that. I have bad experience with them and usually manage my trades until I close them. I only set a sl when I canīt look at the charts, before news events or if I am not sure about a trade anymore. I got stopped out too many times with fake spikes. I trust my trades and if they donīt go my way I just close them manually. I hate to know that market maker see your stop losses.
