Hello,

Here is Vortex, the second version of Starter System (Starter II), developped by winfxstrategy. They have shared the EA on a french forex forum. I have tested it. Maybe it could be optimized, there is some interesting movements, despite of a money management "a little" too aggressive.

Both, down movements on the backtest can maybe be filtered or reversed if we find reason to the failures. The first reason is certainly the money management that can be revised.

I think the interesting parts were the downward movements from $100,000 down to $10,000.

But just to guarantee that losing 90% of an account wasn't a fluke - I went the extra mile and looked at the statement.

It seems that they're trying to win 5-10 pips with a S/L of 30.

And that's topped off by what looks like a reverse-Martingale system with lot sizes ranging from 52.10 down to 0.10.

For my money, it's called a train wreck - not the starting point of a promising method.

advice: stay away from vortex and similar products...
The only way to make it in fx is hard work, study, find the method that works for you and apply it yourself.
EAs will never work as good as you will when you'll find the right system for your trades. And if, if, an EA will work, it'll be the one that you will create and you will never share with the public for 89.99 bucks!
