for me, the divergence is not complete until price break down a trend line.
if price at present keeps going up, the so call divergence may not be there.
keep watch that m15 cci 100 does not fall below zero line.

continuation of gn sell.
1st entry was a mistake due to lack of focus not waiting for retracement. entry was in m1.
2nd entry was not in accordance to rule but i make sure that cci100 was below -100. entry on bounce down from resistance.
got a 1.3% profit day.

quite laughable thanks to the cad news.
cci 100 had closed below -100 but not -200. i held the trade so long as it does not close above zero line.
if it closed below -200, i would hold so long as it does not close above -100.
and i draw a line up at the cci -100 to identify the high of the momentum candle of which price also did not close above.
the stop loss exit is still a work in progress.

Hi,

I'm in the second hour of NY am session. Price just closed above yesterday's high on the UsdJpy M15 and both CCIs are above +100. Let's see how this plays out...

Well..., that didn't last long. It just tickled me out for a full loss.
Arrrrgh!!

I guess it's still testing the BO level.

for intra day trading, i think it helps by looking from h1 downwards. more or less the trend.

There weren't any red flags coming up this morning so I thought I would be okay - guess not.
And again, price did eventually make my 1:1 target so the system did call it right.
The UsdJpy finally broke out and - pretty late in the NY am session - I re-entered the trade.
Oh well, it looked good at the time. But this time I had moved my stoploss to 50% so it all ended better than it could have.
