Missed your analysis.
I've been trying to implement your system on my trading.
It's quit good to find support or resistance, but still can't filter out the weak support that becomes resistance and vice-versa.

I do try to sell at resistance, buy at support etc.
Also tried the breakouts combination, only to find sometimes that lasts only a few pips, and then becomes resistance again, even with all the breakouts combination...

Any ideas on how to improve it, or filter out the breakouts ?

Your work is much appreciated to me. Keep it up.
And please flood the forum with your analysis.

is your mouteki trading method still profitable or lost steam ? what sort of results have you had in the last year ?

Looking over the original method as per the first post. I've gotten through about 67 pages and still can't find an answer to this question about the original method.

How far back are you allowed to go for the absolute low or high verticle line????

As in a very strong and long up or down trend the resulting projection might end up being very rediculous.

I've just been using the first obvious one.

Also I noticed mouteki is now talking about fibs and fib levels. Can someone tell me at what page to start reading to learn the latest version of what he is doing? Or is there a particular post number or new document that I can read.

I went to his website and started listening to a video, but (no insult intended) the videos were very dull and droning, I just could not finish them, and I'd just like to find a post or document that gets the point quickly and explains set up, and targets and the important parts of the method.

I prefer written documents as I can read them and get to the finer points and re read them and study, as opposed to waiting for a video to come to conclusions and trying to remember at what juncture to rewind to if I want to review.

is a scam, dont waste a dime or any more time trying to contact this person. He's a bait and switch...Do yourself a favor and learn the method from the man who actually developed the strategy Tom Demark. Not some kid who is trying to learn to trade with Daddy's money.

But what about this method.... does it really works?

nobody try with a backtesting to see whether or not is consistent,
since with statistical information it might have a better approach of it.

The following e-mail is just based on my reading of Mouteki's methodology and my real world experience as an intraday trader of one instrument using breakouts from triangle patterns and other classical chart patterns. I apply my own personally developed money management and stop movement plan to this method, risk only 1% of my bankroll, and apply other very strict money management controls and exits at objectives.

Mouteki, whether he copied Tom Demark's method or not, is another version of a breakout trading method. From my understanding of his and Demark's method (I have read a lot on both and read DeMark's book where he explains his method), they draw trendlines between two points and enter on the breakout of that trendline. The method includes a precise measuring method for the anticipated move of the trading instrument. I think measuring objectives are important to use as profit targets. This is a simplistic description but it suffices for this discussion. The breakout is not much different than the breakout of a downward sloping trend-line from an ascending, descending, or symmetrical triangle.

As with any breakout method, it will go through hot periods and cold periods. During my cold periods I average around 25 to 32% winning trades, draw-down, and they can last for a few months. During hot periods I might get up to about 66% winners. My average for all trading periods is around 55% winners. I trade trade 1 minute charts with an instrument that I don't want to name to avoid too much competition from others on the same trades. In that instrument, I was quite hot from August to November and made about 27% in my account for that 5 month period. Since then, I have been cold through today. In December I lost .789% and in January I lost another 2..661%. My total draw down through last Friday is -3.45% for two months and a week. I risk 1/100th or 1% of my bankroll per trade. So you can see I grind it out and it goes in streaks for me. I think that whether you trade Mouteki or any other breakout method, you are going to have hot periods where the breakouts work very well and cold periods where your equity curve goes flat or draw downs occur and the cold periods will last for a while. My goal is to make 3% per month from my overall trading plan so you can see I am just a bit above that for the past 7 months. If you compound that monthly, you can make around 40% or a little more per annum. No a bad business but it requires tremendous patience and discipline.

You should ask lots of traders for their experiences in this regard. Unfortunately, very few will share numbers and percentages the way I have here, but those statistics are what will really provide you or anyone else asking the question how real trading appears and what the business model should look like. You need to do own testing/trading to see how your stats occur and develop your own business model and compounding method for your trading. I am sure there are many on this site whose trading stats blow mine away. However, this is a very tough game, you are playing against very intelligent minds from around the world, and, in my experience and humble opinion, no one has a holy grail and makes 200% or more per year risking 1% or less per trade.

During last night's Asian session I recommended an immediate sell on the Aud/Usd using just basic 4 hour support and resistance analysis. For those of you who were lucky enough to catch the post on my blog and wise enough to follow my analysis you pocketed just over 160 pips on the trade. If you have not yet seen the post I strongly suggest reviewing it even though the movement has already occurred. Aud/Usd has set up for yet another great opportunity to take the pair south. I took a sell on the pair during the Sydney open, banked 33 pips then entered a sell during the London session as planned looking for the big move of around 150 pips to my limit. Posted full analysis and screen shots during the asian session on the blog, a must see...

The yen hit the first target we predicted, looking for a retacement to potentially enter on the pullback for the second target area... Next in line is the pound, still consolidating at the area we anticipated in the latest video. Coming into the London session will be interested for the break in either direction as shown in the video analysis...More to come as the pair unfolds!!!

Greetings forex friends, today I wanted to share the second setup on the usd/jpy movement that we have been trading south. If you recall, yesterday I suggested shorting the pair on the bear flag breakout for the first profit target. As the image below shows the trade had no problem achieving the limit. It is amazing how quick of a sell off occurred @ 83.30 exactly where I suggested taking profit. This means that the bankers where on our side and targeted our limit also. We saw the pair pull back to the 1-hour channel after hitting the 83.30 just as we anticipated. Now, we are looking to take the pair short once again now targeting the second profit level @ 82.50. Market is currently respecting 15-min supply line that is in yellow on the image below and a bounce trade off of the supply line looks like a very good opportunity. Entering @ current price 83.17 and placing stop @ 83.37 level which is above last 15 minute resistance. Now, will this trade payout or stop out?!?! I DON’T KNOW!!! But I do know that I have anticipated and now reacting. Anticipation process in the video that was posted on Tuesday, reacted with first trade yesterday and now doing the same since this is what I have planned out.

Taking a look first at the hourly chart on the pound we can see a that we broke the channel south and are bouncing off of the 4-hour channel overall trend north.

Taking a look at the 5 minute we have our entry coming from a bull flag breakout north. Entering at current price with stop @ 1.6307 and limit @ 1.6515. Again, will this trade profit…I DON’T KNOW!!! But, with this kind of risk/reward and given my anticipation via technical analysis has lead me to this decision I must now react!!!

Just posted a brief video on my blog with a technical outlook on the aud/jpy. Will post pics once the setup develops and a trade opportunity has occurred.

If you watched the video from earlier today you will recall that I was looking for one of two things to occur. One, for the market to break the top of the symmetrical triangle on the 15 minute chart and two for a bounce trade off of the .382 fib retracement level. Price never broke the top of the symmetrical triangle and we saw the market travel south down to the .382 fib retracement. Just as I explained in the video analysis earlier today, I took an entry order at the 87.60 level in anticipation of a fib bounce trade with my initial stop at 87.43 in case the market did not bounce to limit my loss. The pair did bounce and my entry order was taken in and currently I have adjusted my stop to break even and now have no risk on the trade. Now that I have done my part as a trader I will allow the market to do the rest. I will be looking to adjust my stop to 20 pips profit when the market tests the 88.07 level being it is the top trend line of the symmetrical triangle so that if the market turns against me I will walk away with a minimum 20 pips profit. More to come as the trade continues to develop.
