Hello, i have been working on getting a trading system working.
There are a few things that i cannot figure out.

First i do not understand how to use variables with this type of code.
I need to get exit symbols on the thing for my trades, but i only want
them to show up if a trade in that direction has been initated.

Also i need three lines to show up on the RSI chart that i cannot figure
out how to get on there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this. It will show up as *Coon_70_Short_Tunnel in Custom Trading Systems.

Hey bemac, thanks for helping yet again.
I do have another question though.

I messed around with the template you had put up to.
I could never figure out how to understand the 'pip profit' part.
The very bottom chart that you put on there.

Such a indicator has always been what i wanted in mine i just never could figure out how to read it.

mostly the number ranges from -3 to +4.
is that 4 pips total? or like 400% account value.

This is exactly what i needed to backtest diffrent strategys.
Hmm i have changed things a bit.
I did not like the new way as the trades came at you to quick.
Ive changed a few things to be pretty much like the 1 hour tunnel that ive seen on here.

The only problems i am having, is that i do not know how to only put a entry signal if it crosses the entire tunnel. ATM it only has to poke one of the moving averages to put a signal.

Also i added a setup parameter for you to enter in a uptrend or a downtrend. (1=true and 0=false)


The things that need changed should be in
Longentrysetup,
Shortentrysetup.

Hi Coon,
Are you using the Inspect Window to see the Values of the Outputs?

Getting Closer with your TS. Big improvement over V1 but still some work to do.

Check out the TradeDirection Input to further advance your skills.
Enumeration returns
0 [zero] for First in List
1 [one] for second
2 for third....

vt_Inertia(inertiaper,inertias)>=50;

i cannot seem to get an inertia line added on. it adds the new frame, and i have it put a solid line at the 50 mark. But there is no inertia line going above/below the 50 mark.

does that look somewhat correct?
Or what else would be good to help cancel out the 'bad' trades with the 1 hour tunnel?

What do you think about a MACD histogram, that shows divergence/convergence of the tunnel?

First thing to check is that it is not the same colour as the background.

Also check the Manual regarding Calling Indicators into code.

Someting else you may want to try is to set the Variable you have questions about to an output to see the result of your code in the Inspect Window.
