Hi Xmess7,
Can you code more upper limit of trade level of indicator CMSMv 20.4? (on attached image)
E.g: from ?? come ?? to prevent the Basket from opening critical pairs that have increased or decreased too much at the time of opening the Basket.
I looking forward to your reply soon.

You need to ask grandaevus to help you as he's the developer not xmess7. Also try explain a little bit better as its hard to understand what you asking.

Its been interesting 3 month experience with daily baskets. The belief that basket can be traded daily was given to me by Mrdfx hard work (post #19204). Since 1st of September I went live with real account running modified settings and also in parallel run account on demo fully unattended with #19204 settings. 10 week findings so far on live account: On live account I intervened manually, chose days to trade/not to trade, excluded pairs and ran different starting times around London Open. There has been amazing weeks where there is only 1 stoploss...

thanks for your honest opinion. I see you use basket and aim for 100pips a day. what happen i you are generous in making choice of market (all 28?) and chose RR like 2:1 or 3:1 like SL 30 pips TP 8 to 10pips, or 60 to 20 pips SL:TP etc. you surely could get that small pips in before a large retrace ruin your basket

Hi, I looked at your preset (its in the .tpl file) and you do did not set the vbTrigger levels.
vBasket Upper Trigger Level(pips)=0
vBasket Lower Trigger Level(pips)=0

You need to set a trigger level either upper or lower or both so the EA can open a real basket.

Good luck.
Jess

PS: I just came in to see what was going on. Will be back soon, whenever possible. Take care.

{quote} Hey guys, so I'm back with some new updates on my long term forward test. The end of June marked the end of the 2nd quarter and officially half way in this long term forward test. Its been a roller coaster 3 months with some presets that did well in the first 3 months, losing the next. Two presets even made 100% profit in one month and then both lost it the next lol. Now as this is a test of consistency and not only profitability, it showed me some presets that I had initially thought were good were not consistent longer term. Anyway...

Hey guys, and I'm back with some new updates on my long term forward test.

The end of September marked the end of the 3rd quarter and I have to say it was probably the most boring quarter so far. I'm not sure of its cos we going on 9 months now and its feeling kinda long, or cos the last 3 months there was not much to say. July was an ok month, August was very slow and not much profit was made between the presets, but thankfully September proved to be a pretty good month with some nice gains made on the presets.

There was quite a bit of shuffling between the presets, and at the end it was clear who were rising to the top. From 22 presets I cut down 12 and moving forward I will keep testing the final top 10 for the final last quarter.

Just a few stats to tell you, out of the top 10 finalists, the no #1 preset is sitting at around +76% profit so far this year with 6 positive months and 3 negative months. The no #10 preset is sitting at around +25% profit so far this year with 7 positive months and 2 negative months. All presets are 100% set & forget and there has been 0 manual intervention. So far not to bad considering the bottom of the finalists has made +25% this yer doing nothing lol..

Lets see how these last 3 months will do and what presets will rise or fall to close out the 1 year forward test and see who our winner is. Alright guys that's it, see you again in December for the final update!

Hi everyone,
I have a question about the original CCFP system. I'd like to ask, in your opinion, which do you think is better overall between using Weekly "False False" setting and Weekly "True False" setting?

I have tried to scan the thousands of posts but I can't seem to find any tests or conclusion on this.. Thank you all.

Dear Grandaevus,
Thanks you for the amazing Indicators and appreciated your hardwork. You have introduced the currency weights and there is no explanation on the rational behind the number i.e why USD is 1.0, GBP 0.95, JPY is 0.9 and so on.

Secondly, would it a good idea to "sorted" out the "Strength Level" so it's clearly visible the strongest and the weakest currency.
Not sure whether you can add up/down arrow beside the strength level. It would be helpful to know if the number increases or decreases from previous strength.

And on the Trade Suggestion (it's good to follow the colour of the strength ie. green for strong & red for weak). Similarly if the same arrows shown against each of the strength number.

Lastly thank you for your great works. Please keep it up.

Looking forward to see the new version.

Regards

Citi
