Yes...I knew that.

I thought that data from the candle would not be used until 5PM on THAT DAY. Hence the candle for 7-10 (today) not being used until after 5PM.

The previous day close is the next day opening (Central Pivot)?
Same thing?

Everything is Correct except for one thing and that is the central pivot and that is from the next daily candle which is todays...... Even though yesterday's close and today's open are the same it does not mean that will always happen........ Like to day, when the close and the new candle open it could jump 10 pips for the opening........

Now mind you - I said "could"; because it can happen

One thing that will help on determining entry is the PDI/MDI on the 20 chart...... Place a line on the 20% of the PDI and this will help with entry...... 90% of the crossings happens on that 20% line....... At least within a few percentages......

USD/CAD definitely looks like it's going to parity soon.
I will be shorting off the retrace to the new daily pivot tonight
Scalping with small shorts right now between 1.0099 and 1.0087

Steelhead, yes, buyers will hold it up, but the band indicator (and other ones) show you the sentiment of the buyers. I know, it's intuitively illogical and hard to believe, but you can't deny the facts. Why indicators and pivot levels work is an interesting macroeconomic or philosophycal discussion during slow market hours. However the question if indicators work has been answered a long time ago.

By the way, the author of Bollinger band, Dr. Bollinger is a Nobel prize winner for economics.
