Do really believe that many of traders here can make optimal fundamental analysis? =)))
Like fund rate change - up doesn't mean that USD will get stronger after that. So... I see enough good data for USD and use fibonacci levels for trading. Now trying take long USD/JPY, but we see what is happening when Trump is US president.

Open long at 111.00, SL 110.75, TP 111.85.

I do not like to trade news.. it never works for me.. I use VSA mostly.. and try to go opposite of low volume PA..

PS: check my TE, so you know..

You did notice that is a one minute chart?

Down, back up and back down again - for no particular reason that I can tell.

It happens but I would still think of it as wild.

Also we are talking about USDJPY which doesn't really have big, big daily or intra day moves.

I don't look at 1 minute chart at all , its all noise. and the reason it made that very small move is simple, someone Took a trade.
near support here a second time, shall we start to trade under it for a few hours, I might be willing to consider shorts on a retest of 111.10.....

Must have screwed up lots of stops for longs.Changed all my green positions into red ! Was stopped out with some loss.

Current daily ATR(14) is 0.743. That bar was 0.287 which works out to 39% of daily. Or nowhere near typical.

I hadn't checked but kinda what I thought. Drumpf at it again.
UJ has broken the upward trend line that started about March 22. I stared at the screen like an unhealthy crazy person for too long yesterday and ended up over trading the range bound market, however I did get a short in . My TP was/is approx 110.580 ie 50 SMA on daily. It didn't quite hit it. I'm leaving TP or even dropping it more, I think there's more down to come unless the H4 candle proves to be a hammer, But i think the broken TL is more important.
And for the bear dreamers, it's getting towards the end of the month, there could be a shooting star rejection of 50 SMA on monthly chart. That could be interesting. How about TP of 103.100 at $30k with a super bearish month candle. #sighsndreams

The point I was trying to make, which you failed to grasp is , its pointless looking at a 1 minute chart and getting excited about a 25 pip move. you got a lot to learn. oh well.

Your failure to understand low time frame price movement, which is no different than any other time frame price movement, doesn’t make it “for no particular reason”. It’s just that you don’t understand it....period.....
