GBPUSD +5 on half the position and the other half +5 that was meant to be +9, but wasn't thanks to my butterfingers

EU, GU & UJ +5.

Interestingly, I didn't move the stop up on EU when initial TP was hit, until about 45 mins in, and now price is headed south nicely. The other 2 would be the same if I was still in. Will continue on the basics plan this week anyhow.

This is the progress of my NZ long posted from Friday. Currently up +71, generally don't hold them through the weekend but this on I did. Had taken 50% off at +5, held my stop. Have a 50 trailer on it now.

Long EU +5 locked
GBPUSD Was about to enter this trade, but got login issues with FXCM (again)... It was probably the trade of the day aswell +5 and +21 with my moneymanagement in place.

Have taken an absolute drubbing on last 3 bars on UJ this morning! +5 on EU & GU. Missed the move up on EG as it didn't drop below the open.

hmm....I see CTrader isn't listing the symbol on chart....will look at that....this is UJ screenshot

Be careful of trading UJ at this time. Both markets are closed.

Hi Ganc,

I use a stable of overlapping methods that mean I can pull up a chart at any time of the day and be pretty sure of finding a set-up somewhere.

I am an extreme scalper and work mostly off the 1-min and tick charts, though I will find overall set-ups using higher time frame techniques.

For the most part, all of my work involves trading as price moves over a line, so in more conventional methods, 1-2-3 and HOLO fit well, as well as them being variants of methods I was already familiar with from my work elsewhere in another lifetime

If I had to sum up, I would say that I will look to establish a directional bias and then trade in that direction as price crosses whatever line in the sand I am using at that time.

You really need to check out Billy's thread if you want more detail, as I don't want to clutter TooSlow's thread here with irrelevant stuff.

I'm no statistician, the only expectancy I have is the same one my line boss used to have - that I'll have more money in my account at the end of the day than I did at the beginning.
