Welcome to the thread.

The best way to figure this out, is to have your check list and then simply see if your trade has ticked all the boxes.

So, after TS has answered your original question, that is what you obviously did. You ran your check list and all those boxes got ticked! So, you got it right, yes.

Now, really, what was so hard about that - and didn't it feel soooooooo much better knowing that you had done the work and got it right?

Well done. Now it is a case of practice, practice, practice.

Oh and the last Daily High/Low simply gives you an overview of the way price is in relation to the previous day.

Rule 2 would apply to the RED candle on your chart.

Before you begin to go down the rabbit hole and confuse yourself even more when there is absolutely no need.

Stop over thinking things. I have posted this many, many times here before and had said I wouldn't do so again - however, when I feel that a trader is missing it because of a language problem, then I am willing to post again.

This method is called 1-2-3. It has 3 steps.

You are looking at this:

For Short Entries...

H1 Chart

1: Did Candle #1 make a new High?

If yes, wait...Then,

2: Did Candle #2 test the High of Candle #1 and fail to make a new High?

If yes...Then,

3: Enter Short as price drops back over the Open Level of Candle #2.

Flip for Long Entries.

That's it.

Yes, the definition of ''Test the New H/L'' is open to interpretation. What is a test? Get within a pip? Get nowhere near it? Figure it out and get used to it. Trading is messy. You do occasionally have to use your brain.

Once the trade is running, there are set parameters here for managing that trade. Most, if not all, of us here who trade 1-2-3 consistently have developed our own trade management techniques. Figure out what works for you and stick to it.

Yes, If I watch candle based on your 2nd Rule...

If the running candle make new high.... It's failed.... Because, it will be the higher candle today.....

Almost but not quite.

The "red" candle is GREEN when it is testing the new high. When it returns to the open and passes though it, then and only then, is it a red candle.

Hahahaha... Yes... It's true...

But, about Yesterday High/Low... When price breakout the Line... We should be carefull, am I right? We must trade and safe 1,2,3 in the range...

Or it should have been. The Tradingview trading seems to have a lot of faults. I missed out on two good trades today because the order buttons weren't working... Might have to switch back to MT4
