just had my 24hrs operation on one demo complete

250 eur start balance and now i have 323 eur balance ~302.66 eur equity BUT bare in mind that most of the profit occurred within the FOMC and its a demo (activtrades) account

its the one thats still "stuck" but it will find its way sooner or later


just to have something to talk about both use different setups (stop orders both of them though and dynamic)

These are my sets for limit and stop orders on the same acc, now because slow volatility stop orders are trap

When the FOMC was released it trades on both directions with pretty nice results

Another thing is about the recreation of orders, i am seeing it takes more than 3 seconds to complete all pending orders and with news it is a huge time, any recomendation? If i put only 10 orders per side i could lose the spike when trading NEWS, recreation will create those more orders i need to fullfill and not losing the movement or do i have to wait until next cycle if the 10 pending orders are already executed? If it is executed will create more to trap the movement?

why dont you place fewer order to start so the time that the orders are "created" is less... i believe thats the reason that it takes 3 secs you are creating 30 orders in total... that takes a few time (i guess) from my experience on demo

you probably selecting "Without Commissions and Swap" and your account type is the one with Commission and Swap. That's the reason it is different.
Dynamic Target is the TP after calculation. That means if Last Profit >= Dynamic Target, it will close all orders.

I got new version ready, v1.4.
But still without the fix of Recreation issue when it is outside the timeframe. I will try to finish it tonight, so I can release it tomorrow.

Pending items planned for v1.5:

  1. A button to manually start the grid.
  2. Cycle Counter, and Cycle Limiter.
    This feature will count on how many cycle has been finished since start of the EA. And there will be limiter, so you can limit how much cycle for the current timeframe.

Pending items planned for v1.6:

  1. Dynamic Target based on the count of opened buy and sell orders.

no it happens on all 3 demos even if i changed the field from commission/swap active to not active... and all brokers have swaps and one of them is with lot commission

anyway its a small issue for the time being...


whats your settings on GT1000reboot?

You attach 2 different settings on a single account, and quite big lot size. Which means if it is dynamic size, it would be 0.0001, while my settings is on 0.00003 (for GT500). 0.00003 is already with high risk. No wonder you got -11K there.
Try to get GT500 settings, or the GT1000 REBOOT.

If you want to pair 2 different settings, make sure you distribute the lot size between both. Because you cannot expect both running on full max, which could turn your account into a higher risk.

they dont allow hedging and they are "hard core" market makers... i still remember a few weeks ago i was trying to close manually in profit positions both in eurusd and aussie... and i couldnt i must have hit the close button a few hundred times (i am talking not filled...not even a requote...and we are talking for minilots) the positions turned against me and still couldnt close them... it was the most weird thing i ever experienced....

A few more question, that time u have in GT1000 REBOOT is which time zone? i have my VPS on canada which is one hour ahead from me, i am from Colombia and my current time is 12:56 AM

In 4 digits broker those settings does not work, can u please modify it for 4 digits brokers ( GT1000 REBOOT set)?

Did u make today 7% trading with that set only 0.03 lots? Those are stop orders? because i saw order type 1. did u made that trading today FOMC?

GT1000 REBOOT is for 5 digit. And if you see any settings with "points" or "in points", which gives you like 50 or 75, you need to divide it by 10 to get 4 digit broker. If the settings says about 75, you can't set as 7.5. It must be an integer number, not double (with comma).

is it possible to make the limit and stop to be internally? example, the order is limit, instead of putting 30 pending limit order, it will make instant order with a define grid interval. with that, the EA can close the active trades faster. there will be no more closing of pending orders because it has no pending orders. in stop order also, it is very useful in news trading, because it will not create 30 pending stop order and close all pending order if the tp is reach, then it can create a new cycle of trades faster.

by doing this, we can add an option of martingle multiplier in limit order since there is no pending order yet.

This will fix 1 performance issue.
But I disagree to implement this. The reason is because you'll end up in having a gap between the requested price and the actual price (slippage).

Actually recreation method should fix, but it still having bug which I'll fix it today evening.

Hi, there are a lot of settings over this thread.
GT500 is the one started from $500, and GT1000 is the one started from $1000. The settings file I have shared is under Singapore Time, so I think you can do your own conversion to your local time.

Please explore the Trade Explorer on top of this thread first, and analyze the impact or the advantages / disadvantages. Once you have done that, please explore with Demo first, for at least 1 month or 2 months (or your preference).

You see when yours is starting with new cycle, mine just got stuck, both of them GT1000 and GT500. We'll see how long this situation will be over.

My demo is with them. Funny thing, If you are european, they won't let you open a cent account. Restrictions for no reason....crazy.

First of all thanks to radityo for the work and the effort and to everyone else here trying different settings.

I'm still testing the setting posted some days ago, and they look work well. The account (demo) still growing. You can check the Trade Explorer on my account. 30% in 7 days don't looks bad. I think the key like mentioned from radityo and KGP is don't be greedy and have patience. Go for little pips and make it cylcing.

During the FOMC it closed many cylces making profits but the last one got stuck until today with considerable DD.
I think in a real account this couldn't happen due to slippage. Better turn off and start after news.

I looked at Exness website info does not sound good for me.
Australia's Global Prime https://www.globalprime.com.au/ looked good to me, have been using their demo. anyone here have live account with Global Prime?
