Hi Tikku, my set file I posted earlier post 183. Take my set GT500 v.2, Stop Orders, 5M TF, 5 digit broker, low spread. My demo account is doing well , I earned by now 253$ since morning. 7 pips grid step seems ok as well.

Hi Silanto, your OrderCountPerside=100, means your total number 1 00 + 100 = 200 ! Try 10 times lower figure like 4...10 per side. Andres

hi andres,
Just to let you know...
I asked Radityo before and his answer makes sense, which is this is grid tunnel which means there's nothing to do with TF..
no matter the TF is, each pending orders is created based on gaps setting (points) after certain interval (points) from current price.
so nothing to do with Timeframe...m1 m5 h1 daily etc

Hi all,

I have a new idea,please see pic 1 2 3...

firstly two position, buy stop and sell stop (0.01)...multiple 3 and grid size 100 (or all set from EA input).
when price is up,open buy stop, then delete 0.01 sell stop and get new 0.03 ( previous 0.01 multiple 3 ) sell stop at same point.
let's go on.price is down,touch 0.03 sell stop,then get new 0.09 buy stop (previous 0.03 mulitiple 3 ) at buy 0.01's point.(same point)

etc...

top tunnel is all buy positions TP,all sell positions SL,bottom tunnel is all sell positions TP,all buy positions SL.
no other TP and SL.

When touch tunnel (TP/SL),then close all,and get new start.

have any problem for this strategy?

Best Regard

Liu

Hi all, i have a problem, why the EA close all order when the profit go to 0? It cover the spread and then it close the trade. Target is set in "fixed" and "10.0"

Thank Liu,
I think it's a good idea.
But what if the price does not take the level of TP in a sideways market? We will have open position with lots too big: a martingale of species as dangerous.
However to try, hopefully Radityo.Ardi can implement your idea in 'EA
regards Antonio

HI CHUCRUT, Show your file set, thanks

I changed Close type from "Right in the start point or target based" to "target based (standard)" . Thinking that could be this...
And an other thing. I set to close all at 23:00 but this morning i found opened and still open some trade in the interval that it should be turned off.

The set file seems to be okay, strange orders that close to zero. For the second problem, in "Stop Time Mode" you have set "Close When no open order", so, I think, that if an order still open the basket is not closed. greetings

Thanks.
Now with Close Type in "Target based (standard)" looks works good. And for the second problem yes, i put "close when no open order" because i think it means that if the stop time is at 23:00 it won't start a new cycle after that hour. If a cycle start before that hour the EA let it run until it goes over but after that it should stop start new ones and wait until the oper hour (07:00). But this morning i woke up and found some losing trades opened like at 03:00 and 05:00. Maybe i didn't understand the setting...

Correct if i'm wrong, thanks to radityo and everybody else here!

Hi guys.
Didn't manage to reply all your messages, but I will do it.
I have some of the changes done such as: stop loss (of course with multiplier), fix in Dynamic Base calculation (this fix will not have any impact if you selecting Balance), some small fix related to errors.
I can't continue coding during weekend, since my latest source code was lost a few days ago.
Will start again with all the fixes by Monday once I recover it.

Happy to see my GT500 has reached 1000% profit for 77 days!
It is too bad is just for demo...
I'm a lazy trader... please don't follow me for no reason...

Great success for 77 days! Mine has gone to from 500 to 541 in 1 day. I was wondering, you are using the gt500 file unmodified that was posted in the thread earlier?
Best, Josh

Hi Liu,
is this strategy is proven?
It seems totally different than grid concept, even more like tunnel martingale I wrote a few months ago..??

Correct me if I'm wrong..

Still virgin. Even that setting was generated from GT500. Never been changed, till now.

That is correct, if no open order, it will close all. If one exist, it will not close.

no...50 points is 50 points (or 5pips on 4digits broker).
for example if you see price on EURUSD 1210 on m5 then it moves to 1215 (moves 5pips) even if you see this on h1 or any timeframe it's still 5pips.
if you see the chart movement yes 5pips is more far (in distance/graph/animation) at m5 if you compared it on h1. but the pips is still the same 5pips (or 50 points on 5 digits broker)
