i see then i am totally confused with the signals, could you please post any recent pic of any signal you want, with entry and exit, because thatīs my confusion. Do you trade all crosses or do you prefer some? one observation, if we wait until a reversal signal appears most of the profit many times is already gone isnt it? could you please explain last signal in gbpjpy looks very confusing to me.

Great job

Do you include here a signal with a break of +10 pips than the previous high/low or a simple break ?
Ignored
Sorry akiva, but I dont understand your question. The study shows the % of times that a move will go beyond 15 points after entry is triggered. (Entry point should be in the case of buy: high + 10 pips + spread. In case of short: low + 10 pips.

blanca, I'll post the GBPJPY chart either tonight or on the weekend. Hopefully it will help you see it better or at least how I see it. Nevertheless, working on a stop loss or money management strategy is a good thing, even though I warn you that the stop loss CAN'T be 30 or 40 pips from entry price, as this is a SWING strategy, so the moves will be wider. That is why I insist on mini lots if your acct size is small. If you have $50,000 or more then I guess you can use standard lots.

hi rc,

thanks iīll be expecting the chart so i can clear my doubts, about mini lots or more lots i can trade with them and scale out, my account lets me do it but i will not do it because it is extremely risky for the money management, if i scale out little by little here and there the profits i might have profit in one trade but if the next trade is a loss it will take a huge loss with all the lots included and will hurt a lot the account even if the strategy works 90% of the time, the 10% that does not work is enough to make it a tragedy, in fact i am more interested in looking a bad signals or bad trades than good trades, that is the only way to know if something is working.

No developer on this thread to develop an indicator under Metatrader exactly like that used by rck66?
This system is really powerful, it is a pity really which one cannot use it!

I do a little development, but I do not manage to associate the MM(20) the 2 ROC(10 and 80)

Please help !

I use a variation of coppock. I entry with coppock system in 1 hour timeframe. Then I exit when stochastic 5,3,3 close below 75% in a long or above 25 in a short.
good luck

This thread has gone so quiet.

rck if you are here would you confirm that if there's a short signal coming that one would take a position from the low of the previous day minus 10 pips and spread?

EURUSD has crossed on the daily according to my chart at an entry of 1.4070 based on the above entry strategy if correct. Can you confirm?

Haven't checked other pairs yet but it would be good if others following this system could post any signals coming up based on this strategy.

Thanks and in the meantime please this is not an alert. Trade only when your chart tells you to

Feels like I was left stranded on an island, Robinson Crusoe style. I still use it. Not as frequent as I should and not letting the winners run as much as I should. For ex, this month here are some of the signals generated by the strategy for some of the pairs (dont have time to go thru a bunch of them, so i'll use the most common ones):
NZD USD, long above the high from 7/12, good for over 100 pips
AUDJPY , long above high 7/12, good for about 70 pips
almost same result with AUDUSD but not that quite good,
EURJPY long above high of 7/8 and around 80 pips so far if you weren't stopped out
GBPJPY short blow 7/9 low good for almost 100 pips and then long above 7/13 for almost 200 pips
more or less same story on GBPUSD
and yesterday, which i failed to notice USDJPY gaved a sell below the low of yesterday which is working pretty nicely for about 70 pips so far.
Another strategy that could be used in the Coppock is that when you get a signal either long or short and it doesnt get filled but the histogram doesn't cross in the opp direction, say in the next day or so, you could look for places to take a trade in the expected direction and it usually works for a good scalp of 30 to 50 pips or perhaps you get it at the top/bottom of the counter move and then it really flies in your direction.
Let me know if you want to keep expanding on this thread.
Sincerely
Richard
