not enough info. To be honest, I don't really think about it this way. I look for entries on the 5 in line with the 4H trend, the daily or the weekly trend and then ride them until I think we are facing a temp bottom. Or I enter when it looks about right and place a TP at a potential reversal point.
Did you mean UK Manufacturing PMI? Not sure how much impact that has on EUR/USD. The news coming up in half an hour is more relevant

EUR/USD up a cent? Umm, check. S&P flying too.

Looks like we’re having about of the “January effect” where, last year’s losers stage an early January bounce. Seems like the market also has a strong ISM figure priced in. 53.2 is the consensus forecast.

Heavy congestion is seen on the charts in the 1.3060/85 area with stops above 1.3100. All comes don to the data, I’d suspect. Strong ISM and we make a run for the stops. Weak, ISM, we sell off."

Apparently there are some stops lingering around 1.31. A nice lovely round number.

That was the first time I pushed the buy button in a long time after our ISM data.

So if the FED plan to increase interest rates EURUSD will go down because debt securities will have higher yields and the USD will become more a of 'safe haven'?

I shorted EUR/USD 1.30707 with a Stop at 1.3095

I expected a little bit more of a reaction to this, to the downside. Maybe investors are just digesting it.
