I suppose, this initial SL is quite big: 100-300 pips? How many pairs and trades per week do you trade at the moment with this system?

started with the bare minimum account size so only one position at the moment should be ready for two soon. if it keeps going like it is I will fund the account significantly more but see no money risking too much experimenting so as my confidence grows so will my account

Down 0.66% this week overall I am winning!!!!

I feel I need more than one position but will press on

another great week up 7% that's better LOL

Since starting this test I am up 77% with results like this I will look into funding it properly in the new year.

To understand if this combination of indicators/system are profitable you need to code an EA and run tests over 10 years with high quality data.

the EA cannot trade price action the way a human can.
in the vast majority of systems you need to access the price action/support and resistance BEFORE deciding weather or not to pull the trigger and go in.

but yes he may have just got lucky, as it's early days. i would suggest he keep doing what he is doing and if he feels that enough trades are winning to consider upping the lot size..., but nothing too crazy or anything.

although 77% is a LOT.

I don't know how much he is risking per trade, but i'd say his 77% looks very encouraging indeed if he is using conservative money management.

i have never seen someone trade this on daily though..., so i would definitely advise caution when it comes to increasing lot size...

And yes 77% is a lot of profit and that could suggest high risk appetite.

I am using the account size recommended at the beginning of the thread and have not had my account drawdown below the initial stake
